I don't see it. Especially if we are truly signing Gabriel B. I would go so far as to say 0% likelihood in that case.

He'd thrive in a wider position, but I can see us set up 3421 with Sanchez-Dybala behind Higuain, or just flat punt him as treq in a 3412/4312 hybrid. Feel like the board are hell bent on giving Allegri that AM too, because he optimally wants the 4312 for Europe, even though our 352 is dynamic enough for the continent, given the selection of wingbacks.

Kovacic is quality but we'd need to sign a DM or someone with great output (Herrera). Pjanic and Kovacic in the same midfield looks soft.
