Guys, I'm playing off a hunch here, and it may sound a bit bizarre, but I have a sneaky feeling, we maybe going for Sanchez too. One big CM signing plus a loan type Kovacic signing and Sanchez for AM. Just s hunch. Let's see. Ergo, Herrera, Kovacic, Sanchez.
    Sanchez as AM?

I don't see it. Especially if we are truly signing Gabriel B. I would go so far as to say 0% likelihood in that case.

Do you mean in a wide position with someone like Pjaca or Dybala alongside him, or centrally?
He'd thrive in a wider position, but I can see us set up 3421 with Sanchez-Dybala behind Higuain, or just flat punt him as treq in a 3412/4312 hybrid. Feel like the board are hell bent on giving Allegri that AM too, because he optimally wants the 4312 for Europe, even though our 352 is dynamic enough for the continent, given the selection of wingbacks.

Where do we ever play that ? Almost never
It's clear, that 4-3-x-x will be our plan B this season.
We have to have plan B.

Also, 3-5-2 with Verratti and Pjanic simultaneously is very creative, but not very mobile.
It's better to have someone more mobile in the middle - who cat run into the box etc. This role was played by Vidal and Marchisio (when he played on side) for example.
