Higuain replacing Morata is a big upgrade. The argument that Morata will develop more is bullshit. Higuain scored 36 goals in one serie a season, Morata 15 goals in 2 seasons. We should look at what we lost ATM. To be clear Morata can develop more, but im not sure he will reach higher levels.

I would easily without doubt say that the difference between Higuain and Morata is bigger then the difference between Pogba and Pjanic. Lets not forget Pjanic made more points then Pogba last season. Ofcourse Pogba is better, but if Pjanic and one more classy CM comes, then I think we have replaced Pogba in the best possible way.

There is really no way to find a CM as good as Pogba, unless Veratti suddenly becomes an option (not going to happen).

Instead of investing an substantial amount in the Witsel/Sissoko/Matuidis of the world, we should twerk the formation and play with two holding midfielders and an AM or two inside wingers behind the striker.

Kovacic is quality but we'd need to sign a DM or someone with great output (Herrera). Pjanic and Kovacic in the same midfield looks soft.
