The rumors on the Pogba sale to Man U are relentless! Assuming this indeed is the case for EU120m, what would we do with that money! Who could we buy to make the loss easier to deal with.
Benatia, Dani Alves,Pjanic, Pjaca, Cuadrado

A great attacker, Sanchez/ Cavani/ Lacazette and a Pogba replacement, who is hard to say.
Joao Mario/ Hamsik would be okey. And maby a player like Diawara.

Lets see what happens. If Pogba leaves I think we will invest big for a attacker and a CM. And also agree the transfers before Pogba leaves.

Diawara, believe me his the ideal replacement.

Assuming the deals for Pjaca, Benatia and Pereyra go through, this is our mercato so far:

Expenditures: Alves (0m), Benatia (2m loan), Pjanic (32m), Pjaca (25m), Lemina 9.5m, Mandragora (already owned) = 69m
Proceeds: Caceres (0m), Padoin (0.6m), Cuadrado (0m), Morata (30m), Pereyra (14m), Isla (5m?), Coman (2m for 2nd yr loan) = 52m

Net spend so far is around 17m.

Current squad:

GKs: Buffon, Neto, Audero (Assume Rubinho won't make the numbers)
DEF: ALVES, Lichsteiner, Barzagli, Bonucci, Chiellini, Rugani, BENATIA, Evra, Sandro
MID: Khedira, Marchisio, Pogba, PJANIC, Lemina, Sturaro, Asamoah, Hernanes, MANDRAGORA
FWD: Dybala, PJACA, Mandzukic, Zaza

Excluding u-21 players, that list has 23 players including only 1 home grown (Marchisio). We need to reduce that number by 1. My guess is that may involve selling BOTH Asamoah and Hernanes and bringing in another mid (Kante, Matic?) AND/OR bringing in Mirante (home grown) and offloading Neto. If we manage to sell Zaza for 25-30m, that could help to bring in someone like Cavani.

So far, we haven't spent that much money on a net basis. In terms of wages, we have spent a bit more but my guess is its not unmanageable.

Also, someone like Immobile is possible if we are after a 5th striker as he would be classified as home grown - just sayin.

I didn't watch last night's game so cannot comment on that specific display, but that doesn't sound like the Moussa Sissoko I've seen at Newcastle over the last few seasons. Always looked clumsy and unintelligent, and his attitude suggests he thinks far too highly of himself as well. He'd be too expensive for an average player, and I think he's below Juve's level.
I haven't seen a New Castle game since early 2013 so I'm just going by the euros. Looked decent through the tournament and solid in the B2B role. Was one of France's best players last night.

Sissoko had some good runs at portugal's defence, but he's not juve material.
I want intelligent players here, and he doesn't strike me as one... his passing are average, his shots have power but not much accuracy.
He's just another slightly above average box-to-box midfielder - we need something more.

Yeah, if only we could have the Vidal from 4 years ago back. What a total package that guy was.

Joao Mario anytime! He's young, skilled, hardworking and had a great season w/ S Lisboa and Portugal
Yeah he seems like a good player but somehow I see him signing for Inter and becoming a flop - dont know why...
I like him but would only take him on the Giaccherini role!

Who the heck is Pjaca - does he even do football?
Please go stand in the corner!
