According to a random internet expert: "Croat here, he is a brilliant player, physically a beast, fast, strong, technically great, has a great first touch, technique, his movement is really hard to predict. He can play both winger positions and even attacking midfielder or striker if needed. It's just that he isn't very included in press due to being just one of many young talented Croats (Halilović, Jedvaj, Vrsaljko, Kovačić, Brozović etc.). IMO we would get a lot if we decide to sign him, but I doubt we will due to a lot of teams already wanting him (and more to come after pretty good time played at Euro)"

Its fascinating to read so often about his so-called 'limitations'. It was funny to read it on RedCafe for a while, so that they convince themselves they didnt do anything wrong with selling him for peanuts. I think he is perfectly suited to a modern high pressing game..being the speerhead of the defense. He is running his socks off and giving everything..always. He has an eye for goal and has a good shot. His technique isnt on the level of Lewandowski or Dybala, but he is no Gomez either. I would say he is a great striker and perfectly suited for Leverkusen..a match made in heaven. They ll fight tooth and nail to keep him, as its not easy to find a player like him again for a club like Leverkusen. He is gold for their PR too.
He works hes ass of and has great movement in the box. He has decent tecnique and pace, but cant create for himself or hes teammates. Hes a good striker but not good enough to make it at a top club. At least not as a starter. Do you think he is good enough for Bayern for example?

Hes the next big thing. Gonna be huge, big talent.
I'd be really happy with Pjaca, he has impressed me a lot. I will happily admit that I haven't seen much of him but every now and again you see a player and you instantly like the look of them. The way he dribbled with such pace/close control caught my attention.

For his age/price/reputation he seems worth it.

Are we even linked though?

:agree:

Not every striker needs to be a Zlatan. His movement/goalscoring instinct is streets ahead of someone like Lukaku. Inzaghi wasn't the most techincal striker and had a very good career.

My only issue with him is that I don't think he is what we need at the moment. I want us to get someone more similar to Morata where he has good close control/dribbling and can fill in as a ss or a main striker. Ironically he and Pogba are the type of players Man Utd have needed recently.
