Cavani is past it :inter: And he is a CL choker
Lets check your theory about Cavani past it:
Zlatan 38 goals
Lacazette 21 goals
Cavani 19 goals which is a nice number and take in mind he has played out of position! by the way its 19 goals from 24 starts!
1 year before he scored 18 goals from 30 starts which also is a nice number! so actually his league goals ratio improved

As for CL choker?! this year he score 2 from 7 out of position while last year he scored 6 from 10

Please check your facts before making statements!

Cavani is still one of the best finishers in the world
Last year you would have said Higuain is finished but look what he has done this year!

Another temporary idea could be Mario Gomez for striker. He is not a bad player. Fiorentina just didn't utilize properly and had a serious injury during his stint. With Alves and Sandro providing service, he probably plays well. With Germany, and his Turkey club he has been good, and in Bayern he was a goal machine. Would be cheapish both on fee and salary.

He isn't too slow either.

that's why we should go for Fekir now.
Else it would be too expensive.
Bid what they ask for both players and get an attack team formed by Lacazette-Dyala-Fekir and Sansone/Lapadula for a low price and a young primavera for the sake off
Get rid of Mandzukic and Zaza and voilà better attack team than last year.

Revamp our midfielders. Sell the scrap that's would be a good mercato
I'm not sure if remodeling the whole attacking line is the way to go.

let me tell you that Morata and Mandzukic scored less than Matri and Vucinic.
Plus Mandzukic is 31yrs old if a good offer pass by we should offload him.
Zaza not good enough to be a starter and cry if he is a bencher.
Morata is already gone ... i say let's invest in new and talented strikers.

Dude we could get Llorente and it would be the same thing. So please no.
Unless they come in with low wages and keep warm the bench

Stuttgart too becoming POTY in 2007. That was bis best time, cos he was able to play on the counter with them meant a lot of space in front of him and he was deadly that time..as u said he isnt slow. I was a big fan of him that time, but his lack of technique and his 1st touch made my blood boil sometimes. Gomez means goals though. Only his 2 years at Fiorentina have been a mess with not being fit mostly.

Would like to see him playing for a giant like Juve, but not sure if u need him and if he would be very useful..again for a dominant side with little space? He is a great guy and I wish him the best, wherever he goes.

As for Immobile, didn't want him at all but he might be worth at least considering now that Morata has fucked off. Remember he was great at Torino because he had so, so much space to play on the counter and that's exactly why Morata was so good for us in the CL at times. Because of the open games. Both have a lot of trouble playing against PTB teams but thrive on the counter. So he could be our cheap poor mans Morata solution until we find a top quality replacement.

I watched Fiorentina quite a lot in the last few years and Fiorentina didn't play to Gomez's strengths. Yes, he was often injured and was in poor form but they were barely crossing the ball and creating chances for him. Gomez is the kind of player that needs support.

We also didn't provide great service to Mandzukic but now with Alves, Pjanic, Sandro starting more often, our crossing should improve significantly. Gomez could be worth a try.

I'd sell him for 30 million. That fee is enough to buy Gabriel Jesus outright. I don't "want" to sell him, but if we're offered 30 million, the financial analyst in me says that a premium of approximately 50% is sufficient.
Use Morata money, sell hernanes and friends. Zaza stays!! Padowin left we need a new cult hero and Zaza fits the bill perfectly.

Can you imagine a partnership of Jesus-Zaza just wrecking motherfuckers
