He is a good talented player but he is not WC yet!
He could develop into a WC player but could also flop! This is why loan+option would be a great move while signing him right away wouldnt!

with the new rules, that's probably the way to follow. according to the new rules, it's a squad of 25 with 4 homegrown, 4 italy-grown, and 17 'other' players, with an unlimited number of u21 players. for the previous season we had 19 'other' players. a neto-mirante swap would make it 18, so we still have to sell a player in order to comply with the rules. that's probably one of asamoah/hernanes/pereyra. an other one of those would make place for kovacic, and unfortunately he'll be our high-profile midfielder signing. with morata leaving, we'll bring in an other 'other' player, and mercato closed. my guess is that lirola might earn a promotion to the 1st team regardless of licht's situation. i just can't see marotta letting licht go to inter.
Kovacic is merely a fallback option.Doesnt necessarily have to mean we'll go meet Madrid next week to seal the deal.We'll probably understand the terms and conditions first before making a move.
Key talk in the meeting will obviously be about Morata.
Im pretty sure we're looking at better options than Kovacic at this point.
Honestly cant see us do such an underwhelming mercato which includes alves,Kovacic and Berardi while losing Morata at the same time.
Its like a below expectations mercato especially with all this talk around the CL.

I agree but not for 30M...
If Zaza was playing for some other team and we had 30M would you buy Zaza for 30M?! I can definitely say I wouldnt!
Signing young player like Batshuayi who has great statistics to back up the hype or even signing an unkown youngster from the Eredivisie would be a much better option!
For 30M we might be able to sign Embolo who is young and very promising!
