We will be signing quality players, just like we did with Morata & Dybala, who were fairly an unknown quality to most.

It's the Marotta way, he finds greatness where others don't, that's why I love that SoaB so much, he has an eagle eye for those kind of players.

I don't expect big names, I expect quality players.

Pjanic: 'Enjoy myself at Roma'
By Football Italia staff

Miralem Pjanic hopes Napoli trip up at Torino this evening and reiterated he is “happy at Roma, but you never know in football.” :tuttosport:

The Bosnian scored a goal and provided an assist in the 3-0 victory over Chievo, which temporarily put them into second place.

“The season isn’t over yet,” Pjanic told Mediaset Premium and Sky Sport Italia.

“The team deserved to see the stadium full and we had a great run-up to catch Napoli. This victory is for our fans, who experienced a difficult campaign undeservedly.

“Second place doesn’t depend on us, but Torino play good football, they are always tough to beat on home turf and Napoli will not have an easy game tonight.

“We did our job by winning and hope they slip up. We are really enjoying our football and will try to be more consistent next season.”

Pjanic was also asked about his future amid reports of interest from multiple clubs.

In football you never know, but I am tied to the club for another two years and I am happy at Roma. I enjoy myself playing for this team.”

Ozil was benched alot and then sold because he could not handle the competition. Pjanic for around 38 mio. Is probably hes marketprice. Isco will go for a lot more because he is a much better player. Plus if Pjanic comes here to take fk and penalties then what the $#@! is Berardi going to do.
Ozil was always a starter for Madrid wtf youre talking about. when Mourinho left they sold him late in August because they already had isco signed up who was a big spanish talent at that time. they kept the 4-2-3-1 Mourinho was using for a while but then dropped it sometime that season and started playing 4-3-3/4-4-2. meanwhile, isco kept regressing each year and is nowhere near the player people predicted he would become while still at Malaga (new Iniesta, lol). Pjanic plays at a high level for years, had a more impressive CL run at a younger age than Isco when he took Lyon to a semifinal, and has overall been the better player each season so far except perhaps 12/13. also he suits us better than isco and this release clause makes him much cheaper too (he would normally cost around 50M). this is a no brainer really to anyone whos not gay for isco for some reason

Ozil was sold because he did not have the faith of the coach in Real. It was a big story at the time. He started going from a guarenteed starter to being an rotational player for the last year he was at Real after Modric was aquired. He is a player who needs the trust of coach to perform and he no longer had that at Real because of the competition for places got harder. Pjanic has been a Roma player for what 7 years and never won shit. Isco was the stand out performer for a Malaga team reaching the CL QF. Then earned a move to the team with the most talent packed offense in the world. Sure he has been a little on and of in Madrid but he has still been a good player for them and he just turned 24. For anybody outside an "Italian based forum" a choice between Pjanic and Isco would be a no brainer.

Everyone outside serie a will also think david lulz is better then barzagli. Whats your point ?

Isco was the new iniesta/zidane at malaga. He's regressed to a rich man's giovinco.

He's horrible. And you want him here, at a tactical team lol

Juventus eye Alexis Sanchez
By Football Italia staff

Alexis Sanchez is considering his Arsenal future, so Juventus could attempt a third swoop for the ex-Udinese man.

Papers in England suggest Sanchez is increasingly frustrated with the Gunners and could look elsewhere this summer.

The Chile international wants a club that can make a genuine push for the Champions League.

Although Bayern Munich and Manchester City are in the running, Juve have to be in there too.

After all, the Bianconeri already tried to sign him when he was at Udinese in 2011 and then again as he left Barcelona for Arsenal in 2014.

If Juve do lose Alvaro Morata to Real Madrid, that will bring in €30m of fresh transfer funds to be spent on a forward.

Alexis would work well in tandem with Paulo Dybala in a fast-paced and creative pairing, while Mario Mandzukic and Simone Zaza provide a more physical presence

 "Juve have to be in there too" FI literally write whatever they want.

Oh I forgot only people on A Juve forum knows anything about football.

At a tactical team? What a fucking dumb comment. Isco does not perform to the best of hes abilities because he is played out of position, not because there is anything wrong with hes tactical knowledge.

Pjanic was the standout player for a Lyon team that reached a semifinal eliminating Real Madrid in the process with his goal. at the age of 19/20, scoring 5 goals and 5 assists that season, much more impressive than Isco. hes joined Roma in January 2012 so hes been there 4.5 years and was among the assist leaders in his 1st season there despite playing only half a season. also been among the assist leaders past 2 seasons. has 30 goals and 45 assists in 4.5 years for roma and has been their best offensive player in all that time. and he also plays as CM, an excuse people like bringing up for Isco all the time. i dont know what it is, maybe you were busy fapping over iscos useless dribbles that slow down the play every time so you missed all this, but isco flopped at Real and is regressing every year while Pjanic keeps getting better each year and is carrying Romas offense for 4.5 years now

Pjanic plays out of position, doesent hinder him to deliver a 12 goals, 12 assists season

So you mean to tell me that Isco could not put together a 12 goal and 12 assist season if he played for a lesser team like Roma where he was a guarenteed starter, FK and penalty taker? He did it at Malaga and the first season in Real.

Pjanic scored exactly 1 penalty goal this season and Isco is nowhere near him at FKs so yeah, he wouldnt. Isco never had a 12 goals 12 assists season. also, he plays LCM for Real, he has a player that scores 50 goals on a bad season playing on his side who is excellent at running in behind the defense and moving without the ball. yet he cant seem to get nearly as much assists as Ozil used to or as Pjanic is getting at Roma. cant believe how overrated he is at this forum.

well this time atleast they showed faith in their domestic talent instead of going for a superstar but Ozil was fantastic for them and had great chemistry with Ronaldo, they should still have kept him. typical Madrid

There are rumors that Roma will make Pjanic renew with a much bigger release clause.

Yeah obviously not happening.

Isco has 41 assist and 34 goals in the last 4 seasons. Pjanic has 27 goals and 36 assists. Isco is 2 years younger and clearly has the bigger potential.
