Cavani is better than Mandzukic, not so much that you spend 50M on him and have a slight improvement in quality when you have other needs. Our forward line is fine, there is simply no need to improve it with a WC striker. If one between Morata and Zaza leaves we still have Berardi incoming and 3 other excellent forwards. So Cavani definitely wont be targeted unless his price is between 20 and 30M which qualifies him as an opportunity signing. Lapadula is someone that plays in Serie B. The only good reason to keep him in the team would be if he was a homegrown player, since he is not there is absolutely no reason to downgrade from an Azzuri starting striker to someone who plays in Serie B still at age 26. if he plays well at his next destination where we would loan him out we might bring him back

GDS saying the objectif this summer is to keep Pogba and add 3 WC/good players ( Cavani, Gomes, Mkhitaryan ) and the alternative are ( Kante, Lukaku and Pastore ).

My 2 cents is that the management knows that we have a real shot at winning the CL if we improve some areas of our team. Everyone is talking about how the CL is the first objective next year ( Allegri, Marotta, Buffon, Evra...). I am hoping for 2 or 3 quality players that will elevate the quality of this team.
