Last I saw, Pep was reportedly very close to bringing him to Manchester for next season. Obviously that would be a fantastic player to sign but the best time for Juventus was probably last summer.

With options we got on Mandragora, Sensi and Lapadula, I'd say Madragora is the one backup for Marchisio's short absence with Sturaro and Lemina before him in the pecking order.
Thinking of young Matheus Pereira and loanee Rogerio in Sassuolo also Bentancur is a dream prospect that we should talk about more (who we got an option on. Barca, Real and Benfica interessed)
I want to see what are Pereyra and Asamoah's futures, though i'm fond of the latter...

I like Biglia but he is 30 years old already. He would be the perfect replacement/alternative to Marchisio but his age, price and the fact he would block the development of Sturaro and Lemina make that deal having more cons than pros. I say let's play Lemina in front of the defence and wait for Claudio's return.

I'm not sure why everyone is so dead set on getting a marchisio replacement. If Lemina shows his quality in the last 5 matches of this year and the Coppa, then he should be given every opportunity to be the starter next season until Marchisio comes back.

Yes, he is a different type of DM, more athletic and aggressive, while being less elegant. If it were up to me, I would rather have a 22 year old Lemina nearing his potential, than a significantly older player coming in to be a Marchisio clone at 70% of what Marchisio is.

I think we will simply start Lemina and keep Marrone and Mandragora till January as backups (or longer in Mandragoras case if he convinces)
