Toure for Hernanes will be good, he'll be a better AM than vidal ever was in 2014-2015. I would consider him a plan C though let's look at younger long term options for the CM/AM positions first (Mikh, Andre Gomes..)

Taking Toure is a no brainer for me he is a beast and comes with a wealth of experience. He will succeed in this league because of how pysically strong he is despite being in his early 30s. After seeing what Del Piero and Pirlo done in this league in the later parts of their careers ive stopped giving a fuck about age. Players can last a while longer playing in a less pysically demanding league like Serie A.

Yaya is short term...and that is fine if we have a long term solution already in place. But at this stage for the club i think we should be focusing on finding a long term solution for that midfield. Pirlo was brought in at a time when we didnt have cash or the success of the past 4 seasons. There was an element of risk as well but it paid off amazingly. This time around we have the cash and success to bring in a younger star that can play with other younger stars for quite some time.

I really like the direction we are going. If we manage to keep Pogba and Morata, and bring Andre Gomes + Berardi it's a spectacular mercato. Gomes is very very talented, he's creative, and IMO is one of the best signings we could make for the midfield.

Let's try to keep Cuadrado. If we can't, a RB like Danilo would be ideal. But if Cuadrado stays, he should be a starter in the 352. Just gotta keep position.

Let's say:

Berardi IN 25M
Zaza OUT 25M

Morata IN 25M

Cuadrado IN 25M

Gomes IN 25M
Hernanes out free
Asamoah out free

Lemina IN loan renewal
Isla OUT loan renewal

Cheap CB loan IN
Caceres out free

That would be a 10/10 mercato to me.

How can that be a 10/10 if we lose three players on Bosmans and only receive three new players, one of which would always join us?

Yaya Toure is a player we love to face, but absolutely do not want in this team

He is one of the major reasons his star studded team fails to succeed in europe

Yaya basically screams Inter.
Its the italian team that suits him the most

He had 0 influence in barcelona's victories.

Why him ? Because he's an exceptionally selfcentered player. He's a cm that will not track back, wont work for the team and only work offensively when he feels he can get goals.

I can understand lazy behavior from creative players when not in possession. I dont like it, but its fine. Del Piero was lazy as fuck when we didnt had the ball.

But toure doesnt bother with offensive work untill he sees opportunities for his own gain. He will not ever work for a teammate.

Juventus does not use such midfielders. We are the team that goes with incredibly inferior talented players like Sturaro and win the game against him.

If toure had the mentality of sturaro, he'd shit all over vieira and lampard.

He doesnt. I hate cm's like him.

Oh and Padoin has 5 times the club trophee list of Totti. Doesnt mean he's 5 times better

Maybe it's not 10/10 for me but keeping our best players while adding Andre Gomes and Berardi would make it a very good mercato.

I still would keep Asamoah and Zaza tho.

What does this have to do with anything? You are making a false analogy. Toure was a first team player for Barca and so he was no padoin.

I agree with you that he only contributes offensively for the last few years though I wouldnt make him out to be as selfish as you are suggesting. He goes to sleep in Europe because the whole team doesnt have a winning mentality in Europe at all. Aguero, Silva, Kompany and him all of which have undeniable talent go to sleep in Europe because Mancity goes to sleep. Toure was better in Europe with Barca because Barca are winners and I expect the same from Aguero or Silva if they go into a better team. He wasn't as key to Barca's fortunes as he is in City but 0% is still very harsh.

I do agree with you that now he is only offensive but that has been the case only at City. As a Barca player he wasn't solely focused on the offensive side of the game. If anything he was very defensive minded. We only realized how good he can be going forward after watching him under Mancini in the EPL and he has stopped defending ever since. I would take him at Juve on a short contract no doubt about it. He is one of the best offensive Box-to-Box CMs in the world and has a killer goal instinct.

I find Toure the most collosal waste of talent. And given his winning list with team and player, thats telling.

I dont believe a 32y/o full of himself guy is gonna suddenly be humble at juve.

Evra and tevez came here and were allready hard working lads.
