Isn't berardi creative and decisive?
But Morata probably will leave and Berardi will come in.Thats my assumption for the moment.

It'd certainly be interesting to see how we juggle our striking options though.
I've been assuming all this while that Berardi will replace Morata and hence we wont go after another frontline CF.
Exhibit A
Morata leaves,replaced with Berardi
Dybala,Mandzukic,Berardi,Zaza,AM/CM depending on what our primary formation is going to be next season.
Exhibit B
Morata leaves,we replace him with a young CF like Batshuayi or Embolo and bring in Berardi on top of that.We probably wont go for an AM in this case.

Both Morata and Zaza leave.We replace Morata with Berardi and Zaza with a young CF take Batshuayi again for example.And that means we also focus on AM/CM.

As per usual, we the papers and people on this forum will talk about Isco and Cavani only to find out that we will get neither and end up with sub-standard options.
BUT, since we are dreaming.....I would rather, cash in on Zaza, Coman (he wants to leave anyway) and use the proceeds to get Cavani. I would skip on Berardi. Isco, Oscar or Gotze would be the priority for the midfield but I would still look to keep Cuadrado.
CL matchday squad: Buffon, Lichsteiner, Bonucci, Chiellini, Sandro, Khedira, Marchisio, Pogba, Oscar?, Dybala, Cavani. Bench: Neto, Barzagli, Evra, Cuadrado, Lemina?, Mandzukic, Morata.

Hamsik 30GS 5G 7A last season - 28GS 7G 10A and could play in mid 3 or AM - could be a great signing!
Dembele stats btw are pretty impressive 10G 5A 15GS - very impressive for an 18 year old!

i think we are getting Berardi regardless of what happens with Morata. we are doing everything to keep him but if he goes, then i can see us signing another striker, if not a Cavani level guy then atleast some young promising CF like Batshuayi

If anything, we need a battering ram like Cavani. Selling Mandzukic and if necessary Zaza too in order to bring both Cavani and Berardi. The two of them is obviously an upgrade to the latter two. I love Zaza but keeping a young Morata is great for the long run but having Cavani increases our odds drastically in Europe. If the CL is our goal we need to go big or go home and getting Cavani is going big.
We dont seem that type to part away with our new additions ,especially the starters within a yr.I find a Mandzukic sale highly unlikely at this point.
I dont know about 'going big' with Cavani.The resources have been managed smartly over the past yrs by the club so i dont see them suddenly going a different direction and spending 50m and a 8-10m net salary on a 29 yr old player.Thats too big an ask at this point even with our increasing revenues.

We wont sign him at all unless he's available at bargain 30-35m price(which is highly unlikely) regardless of what happens with Pogba.He earns too big a wage which is far ahead of our highest earner.
