Need top AM or top CM to complete our midfield. Otherwise I don't mind your depth suggestions.
id rather try to fit in Berardi in the team than getting an expensive AM and risk losing him because of that. Berardi, Dybala and Morata in attack has a lot of potential and might turn into on of the most devastating in Europe in a few years. if the Berardi experiment fails then id spend big on a AM the summer after...

what i would like instead is an experienced CM/AM type of player (Banega?) who wouldnt be against a rotational role where he would play less games but quality wise could start for us in big games in case of injuries. he could rotate with our starting CM trio (both Marchisio and Khedira missed a lot of games this season) and give Allegri the option of a more traditional type of AM other than Berardi when needed

The key roles that need to be filled are the third midfielder who we can rely on week in and week out. Khedira can't offer that anymore unfortunately. So we need to really replace Vidal. I would point out that the likes of a Lemina may step up if given the chance to play consistently but at this point if we want to have a real crack at winning the CL and competing against the bayerns and barcas of the world we need that established midfielder.

With Dybala and Morata (really hope we keep him, he is the real deal)...we need to that starter in that final third. Isco as Xperd mentions may be it but not sure if we can land him and keep the likes of Pogba.

If we can manage to keep morata and pogba, and bring in quality in those two areas we are set.

RB needs to be addressed. I we effectively need to do what we did on the left side and bring in a younger player to play that role. I would keep Cuadrado to offer flexibility in formations but we need a settled RB that can offer us what Sandro does on the left.

If pogba and morata both leave then we effectively need to rebuild the team from scratch...would be a set back inmy opinion.

I agree but for the RB part we could use Cuadrado no? if we use the option to buy him 18m woudn't we be set? as we're doing right now playing a bit Lichsteiner and a bit Cuadrado?
The rest depends on if we're going to play steadly the 3-5-2 or we're going back to the 4-3-1-2.
IF it's the latter then we'd need a quality AM and Vidal replacement as you stated.
And I add a great Striker. As much as i love Mandzukic and is workrate he isn't delivering as much as i'd like from our striker (29 apps 9goals)
I love Morata as well he scored 10 goals in 40 matches.
Currently our best striker is Dybala.
We need to step up our game and bring in a clinical striker. The best would be Morata scoring much more than what he is doing right now. Cause aside that he is the perfect striker

IF Pogba and Morata leaves then we'd need 2 cm starters of quality, a striker of greater quality and 1 AM.
IF IF IF IF.... all that happens my names are Xhaka-Gundogan-Gotze-Benzema. dreaming i know.

But I'd personally pass on Berardi if we can make a push for an Isco level AM or something.
That would be what I want too. I feel a top AM can improve our squad better than Berardi will do. Lately we've
bought quite a lot of back-ups. Rather than spend 40 mil on squad players, spend that money on someone who will be a sure starter. We've missed on Verrati, the next big deal, and now we're throwing money left and right for players that can't improve our squad in the next 1-2 years...that's being dumb twice...

I know in AM we are linked with Isco, Oscar and Miki. What about CM? Been hearing Andre Gomes and Saul Niguez links, any one following them in La Liga?

It's not Cavani that we're lacking but a proper AM who can create for others. If we had one then Mandzukic and Morata could score much more. Zaza being a bench player would benefit from that too.

yeah, idk about Banega, he's not that good tbh, maybe in a backup rol he would be ok for us but I fear he'd just be another Hernanes

we've been hearing this speech since forever and yet our team seems to be doing OK

Cavani + our current squad = champions league.
I'd only take him if Morata leaves

you left México?

Cuadrado would never play RB at Juventus, at Barcelona maybe but not at Juve.

Kroos basically is ideal. World class CM and pretty dangerous AM. Buckets of money though.

isn't Kroos slow as fk?
Not only that he is too big to play between the lines as an offensive AM.

Isco would add a lot of flair and skills, could be deployed playing on the left wing too. If we can take him for 30M its done dealio. He has to learn to hug the ball less and be more decisive in his passing, but he has all the right ingredients to achieve that here.

AM or not AM is up to discussions according to formations!
a goalscoring forward is a fact!
How many goals did Morata scored from how many games
How many goals did Mandzukic scored from how many games
Even Dybala who is our main scorer is not really a goal scorer!

Cavani would upgrade us and make us much more lethal
I agree that moves such as the one Morata did against Bayern (his assist) are more likely to be performed by Morata than Cavani but in overall moves in attack Cavani would win in 95% of them...
Just imagine what Higuain is doing in Napoli we`ll have it with Cavani!
