I zoned out as soon as the idea of selling Pogba was entertained :D

Nah you didnt say anything I would disagree with. Keep Pogba at all costs, and its been clear for 2 seasons now we BADLY need quality upgrade in offensive midfield and more direct creativity outlet. Get it done, and keep upgrading the team with quality in general, no more backups, time to become more ambitious to grow further.

I think people want too many changes again. Selling that and that and that player will get us nowhere. We need to keep our team intact and only add if we find someone who fits the team and adds something in terms of quality/potential.

Big changes were made last season and it took time to get everything working again but now we're on the right path and most of our players will only get better. As the tie against Bayern proved we are very close to being among the absolute elite and are more than capable winning against any team already.

Going by Marotta's interviews he probably thinks that way too as he often underlines that it's not easy anymore to find players that would add quality to Juventus.

New RB to rotate with Licht.

That top midfielder with playmaking qualities we've been chasing for so long.

Some depth buys/Sells

Not much more needed really unless a big player moves on.

Buffon
BBC
Cuad - Isco - Marchisio - Pogba - AS
Dybala - Morata

Happy days.

Oh and evaluate all of our injury prone players and sell most of them. Chiellini being the obvious exception.

You think that we can jump in quality if we sell Pogba and Morata? Can we reasonably replace them with the 130m (at most) we'll get from their sales? I dont think so. Who will we sign? Verratti? James? Cavani? Never gonna happen.
Did you read my whole post? No offence but I didn't say this at all.

For me, raise the quality means keep those AND buy quality. And buying quality translates into keeping those. Else they'll follow Vidal's example and leave. There is no good in keeping unhappy players cause the have a contract. Nor you can expect everyone to be as loyal as Del, Buffon etc. Buffon has no CL to his name and he's the best keeper ever. That's a huge sacrifice.

This is painful, but you cant keep world class players/coaches without being a world class team. You can't keep the best talent of this generation without being the best team around. Else its a mismatch. It's like those very beautiful women with some awful guy that none understands why they are together (a big wallet, a big dick, or simply love). What Buffon did, being the best keeper out there, playing not in the best team of the world is the equivalent of football love. But as every love story, its based on pain and sacrifice.

Just put yourself in Pogba's feet. He played his ass off on Wednesday. Having an awesome game, only to be eliminated cause our strikers couldn't put the ball in the net and kill the game and because we didn't have good enough subs. How would you feel if in your company your coworkers were stupid and for anything good you did someone fucked it up? You would seek to change I guess..

This might sound harsh and all, but its reality. Every top athlete has a huge ego. Jordan did, Kobe did, Messi and Ronaldo do. That makes them wanting to be the best, but that makes them wanting to play among the best as well. Dybala chose us instead of Inter cause we are the best. Pogba left Manchester for us to improve. Harsh or not, that's reality..

Well, he will have to. Otherwise we will lose Pogba and Morata. We need to build on the team we have. Losing those 2 will prove devastating even with the millions we can get.

Keeping Morata will cost us 35 mils minimum tho (if madrid is willing to negotiate and morata pushes for us)...we need to take that in consideration. A game changer AM will be in the lines of 50 mils. And if we will invest on morata, he needs to be used.

Berardi needs to be bought. He will be around 25 mils.

Then people here wants Cuadrado....add 20 mils more.

Lemina 10 mils (or aybe we can negotiate another loan?)

Those 5 will practically get all our mercato funds used (without sales). After this we need to see what we will do with Evra and Licht. Maybe Asamoah can take turns with Pogba at CM and Sandro at LB.

Depending on the formation and caceres...we will need a Licht replacement... or we can try to wait one more year and put all our efforts in improving the midfield and the forwards this summer instead.

Maybe we can get adventurous and promote Mandragora who seems to be a good technical CM. He seems to be a better player than Hernanes already.

Less inmimnent but equally important....We need to be thinking about finding a Buffon replacement (T_T) and a Chiellini understudy too.

Players i think can be sold: Hernanes, Padoin, maybe one of mandzukic or Zaza (Mandzukic seems more logical because of age).

MArotta will need to get inventive this mercato. We need 2 or 3 superb signings to keep this team afloat. the RB position will have to wait most likely.

Again I don't think we will change our team too much. Evra, Padoin and Lichtsteiner are more than likely to stay and there is no way we'd sell Mandzukic after only one season especially when he has been for most parts very good. Zaza will only leave if he wants more game time and asks for a move and we get a good enough offer.

We have already paid for Morata he won't cost us anything if he stays. Signing Cuadrado is a no brainer and I hope we invest on Berardi also although I'm not sure where he fits in our team.

I did, but as it seems we are on a same page.

You said keeping our best players shoudnt be our main priority and you now say we should keep our world class players if we want to be world class team? I dont get it. We are a world class team, we are top 5 in the world thats for sure. Oil money is the only thing that fucks us. If our players want a world class team, they allready are in it. But if they want a crazy deals, they will look elsewere.

Ill put myself in Pogba's feet now. I have it all here in Juve. WC club who had faith in me when no one else had, club with amaizing group of players, we are one big family. The fans love me, I love them. I became a WC player here and now whole Europe wants me. But the club doesnt want to sell me, im having reasonable salary, signed a great contract with addidas recently. I am the star player here, i have the legendary #10 jersey on my back. What guarantees me a CL trophy if i go in Real lets say? Now you will mention Barca. Yes, he will have more chances of CL glory with them, but he will never be a star there, never will be loved as much as he is here, as much as Messi, Iniesta are loved there.

Depends what Pogba wants. If he wants to become a legend here, he should stay. He will have his shot in the CL with us thats for sure, cause we also are a WC club with great players. And please dont mention the Bayern game. We showed that we can play vs anyone and anywhere. We had a great game, showed the world we are a WC club. Last year we were a game away from the tremble. This year we were 2 minutes away from knocking out the seocond best team in the world, in their own home. Thas pretty world class if you ask me. :)

Keeping Pogba and Morata should be our main priority thats for sure. Not only that they are fundamental for the team, but also I dont think we will be able to replace them even with the big $$$ we are going to get if we sell them.

First of all Morata is not "ours" until that clause is nullified. Until then..we will have to deal with real madrid if they want to buyback Morata...which would stupid not to do.

About Zaza and Mandz...We have different points of view. One is younger and healthier and also can score. The other is more experienced and is very good but has less years left. I see Zaza as a potentially really good CF. We would save millions when looking for one if we keep him. Its about time we give more chances to young players, specially in serie A. But maybe at this point is too late for Zaza and he will ask a transfer most likely. Same old Juve.

The rest fo what u said is exactly what i said and hence will cost us some dollars. Our team will most likely stay the same..with the inclution of berardi, an AM and getting rid pf surpluses/ signing new young guys to fill those holes.

By the end of summer 16 Pogba, Morata and Berardi will be playing for 3 different clubs.

Non transferrable:
Buffon
Barza
Chiello
Bonucci
AS
Pogba
Marchisio
Dybala
Morata
Rugani

Could be sold if somebody offers more than marketvalue
Licht
Pereyra

Could be sold if somebody offers marketvalue
Neto
Asamoah
Mandzu
Khedira

We should actively try to sell
Sturaro
Hernanes
Zaza
Caceres (free transfer)
Isla

Realisticly we should try to sell the last 5 players and keep the rest. They could probably bring us something like 60 mio.

I would like us to keep Lemina and Cuadrado. So thats probably around 30 mio. If you add Berardi for 25 mio thats 55 in total. To renegotiate Moratas clause we probably have to give Real around 15 mio. Thats 70 mio. If we add Mhytaryan (35 mio.), Diawara (15 mio) thats 60 mio net spend and we still need a RB.

Who would you get..
Thats the problem I dont really know anybody who would be affordable and fits into that category. Ideally we would get someone, who could also play as a CB in a 3 man defense like Cáceres can. If Cáceres was not so injury prone I would just extend hes contract.
Can you think of anybody?

This numbers seems unreal to me. Why they would bend over that hardcore to sell Morata like he was a crappy serie A player?. The cost of the clause is around 30 mils and morata is a wanted player by EPL clubs. Eliminating the clause for 15 mils is impossible IMO.

I AM assuming hes marketprice is around 45 mio. Instead of them giving us 30 mio we give them 15 mio.

The only top club who'd go for him in EPL is Arsenal IMO. And the highest transfer fee they have paid is 50m euros for Ozil. So it's not unreal to expect then to value him at not more than 45m. So if, and it's a big if, we were to negotiate with Real, we'll just have to pay the 15m difference. But at the moment it'll be hard to justify Morata's valuation at 45m with the down year he's having. There's still more matches left in the season though. So things can change.

we should definitely get Berardi and fit him in somehow behind 2 forwards. remember last season when we 1st shifted to 4-3-1-2 back in October-November? im not sure who it was, but one of Pirlo or Vidal got injured so we started playing Pereyra behind the forwards. back then, no one was calling it a 4-3-1-2 but rather a 4-3-something because the player movements and quick transition play upfront made us very unpredictable. once Vidal/Pirlo returned, we benched Pereyra again and went for our usual midfield of Pirlo-Pogba-Marchisio-Vidal. most agreed that we looked much better with Pereyra at AM even though he wasnt a real AM either and played our best football in years. Berardi could offer a similar effect like Pereyra did with his intelligent off-ball movement but with a much better end product compared to the Argentine. Berardi can also drift wide to either side, drop behind the forwards or move up high to press the defense. with 2 mobile strikers like Dybala and Morata it could turn out great and thats definitely something id love to see next season

Personally, i think morata will get better. He is having a bad season but we all know he is capable of more. Maybe arsenal could make a push for him. He would do great for them. But needs to be seen.

 Theres no harm in trying to see how it goes. Add to that a very technical midfield and we are set
