Well that's obviously a garbage statement to make. I just checked and he has 2 goals and 10 assists in 2053 minutes (La Liga + CL) this season. Pogba has 5 goals and 7 assists in 2943 minutes. Isco is thrown around the pitch all the time and still provides something to the table. You're too harsh, Isco would be perfect for us because all the creativity is on Pogba and Dybala's shoulders now. We need another player with this ability and Isco as AM would be just perfect (if we assume he'd adapt properly here).

He plays often as B2B just like Pogba and has a lot of defensive duties (as B2B) too. It's true he plays as AM or winger at times and that gives him a better chance to improve the stats but either way he's useful, especially if you consider him as a bench player for them or rotation player at best.

If we have a shot at him we'd be retarded not to give it a try. He's the same age as Pogba and he's been around like since forever it seems. Instant improvement to our starting 11 and an AM Max is dreaming of. It would make sense to play 4312 again

Isco's obvious downside is the fact he's a bit of a ball hogger (Pogba's problem as well) but try to imagine Pogba, Isco and Dybala, all that creativity

Whether it's possible or not to sign him is out of question here. I personally think our chances are very slim, but the player would be very useful to us if it happened.

If Götze chooses Juventus, I think we'll get him.He's definitely no superstar now and has to rebuild his career from scratch.

Berardi - I think we have doubt about him as the best decision is to wrap him up now to avoid competition but we seem to delay on it so maybe we are trying for someone who can play at other position rather than Berardi

I liked out 433/451. Morata once again proving he's 100 times better when played centrally @Post Ironic. Maybe we should look for other options, forget about a TQ and search for good wingers (after of course signing Cuadrado permantely)? Alex can do the left role if needed, play one of Morata or Mandzukic centrally and retire the regista role and maybe Dybala could play a deeper central role like Eriksen used to at Ajax.

Considerign the players we have now... Let me have my rakibomb moment and suggest this

That formation would be great as it would basically morph between multiple different things dependent on opponent. I'd love to play Alex Sandro and Cuadrado as basically wide midfielders with more freedom to attack (but still some defensive responsibility) in a 4-2-3-1 like that... That same line-up can easily become a very very good 4-4-2 with Dybala playing further forward. Or even a 4-2-4 if we really need to press for a goal. It also can be very easily shifted to 3-5-2 with a single sub.

The thing that always worries me about our 3-5-2 against teams who play a 4-3-3 is the overlapping runs of winger + fullback that often leave our wingbacks going 1 vs 2.

The problem with the above is a lack of numbers in centre of the midfield, but with the athleticism of Pogba and the positional intelligence of Marchisio that should be overcome... as well as providing us with fantastic width and attacking prowess.
