I've talked to several friends who support Corinthians, well, everyone says he's an average player, nothing spectacular...

But it's come to a point it's nearly impossible to predict what those kids will become. Unless it's someone like Neymar who was clearly meant to be a world beater at that age.

You look at a younger Coutinho and he was an almost mediocre player at Vasco and has become a pretty good player. The fact is that nowadays SA players leave the continent behind at a much earlier age, so they pretty much get molded the European way. Some can adapt, some can't. We'll see.
I remember you saying that before

I can't help but getting excited but I have no clue about them so I figured I'd ask. They don't seem like they come with a heavy price tag so it's probably worth the gamble. :D

I think next season we will play
Buffon;Licht Bon Chiellini Sandro;Khedira Marchisio Pogba;Saponara;Dybala Cavani
Subs: Barzagli (basically as a rotation with our current 2) Rugani (will get more play time) Sturarro, a new supposed to be talented CM,Hernanes,Mandzukic,Zaza,Berardi (will get minutes but will also be a rotational with time until he could verify himself as important)
I really think Allegri will try to go with the 4-3-1-2 formation as he tried to do so this year but failed
i'd like to see Cavani and Saponara here but you can't keep both Zaza and Mandzukic+ Berardi as benchers. One of them has to go. Because then you'd have 3 central forwards like Mandzukic,Zaza and Cavani.
I dunno man reading here it seems we don't have money for anyone besides little scrap from mediocre serie A teams.

- - - Updated - - -

if rumors are true i'd offload Khedira and Mandzukic to Bayern.
I like Khedira! i really do! but he is expensive and fragile missing so many games.
For Mandzukic he is effective as striker but lack totally in the speed and flair area. If a good offers comes he should go. Specially cause he is 30yrs old.
Honestly next year keeping Dybala we should rebuild our attack. But what we need is a TRUE QUALITY STRIKER. ONE has to be world class. Then THEN you can bring the likes of Berardi and so on.

Fingers crossed he'll turn out good. :xfinger: If there's one thing I miss at Juve is a class attacking midfielder.

Real Madrid couldn't even get to March before falling apart. :sergio: Damn it this is a real circus and I am kind of sympathetic to the organization perhaps, but they are now one of the front-runners at the casting for the next Idiocracy movie.

As I am saying for a long time now they might be raid-able for us in the summer, now its official. Most of those players would be willing to forego high salaries for stability and titles I would bet you on that. Especially after what they've witnessed their team-player captain say tonight. Humiliation is high at the Bernabeu and I was kind of sad for Zidane, but only kind of...

They should be too expensive for us anyway. Nothing to get excited about.
They'd have figured out by now that EPL is the ideal place to offload their surplus

- - - Updated - - -

Kovacic would be nice

That's okay. More options on the market is good
Kovacic would be a pretty difficult signing.Though he's still probably the only realistic option we can target out of their surplus

But yeah, more options on the market is ideal.

Funny thing is I would say Ronaldo most certainly. Hopefully he is not coming here!

Kovacic :snoop:

There is not much truth in that.
How not so? Kroos, James, Modric, Danilo, etc... neither will go for less than 30m. And if we can pay 30m you can be sure other clubs can pay way more.

If there's a clearance most will go to the EPL. There would be a tough battle between filthy rich clubs for those RM rejects. We don't stand a chance, just accept it.

You know i've been trying to say this for ages but people aint listening.

They're not gonna sell their rejects for a loss or less than the value they bought them for now that there's a filthy rich market in the form of EPL,the oil money of PSG and the likes.
You just have to go through their sales from the past 3 seasons and that'll give us an indication.
Real Madrid and Barca rejects are seen as hot commodities on the market these days.

It depends. Most of the big teams in England are very unstable and if the player is ambitious he would (probably) choose to come here than go to United. City are the biggest threat but will Real sell to Guardiola? It looks interesting and Real has so much quality players... :santa:

Sure, EPL has certain allurement, but more than a few players have refused to play in England over the last several years. Also bear in mind that when CL winner is seeking for some player, it holds certain weight and players are likely to succumb to our appeal.

First of all it smells like a presidential change. There is no one for Florentino to fire these days. Unfortunately for him it came to THAT point...

What follows? Standart Madrid practice -> everyone not signed by the new president is an enemy within. The only powers in this world capable of preventing that are madrid's insolvency and responsible bankers not willing to lend money easily. In short its happening.

Then sending players to the EPL might not be THAT easy. Not everyone dreams of spending his time in Manchester and even less so in the loosing half of it. Quite a gamble at this point. And you have the conversation going along the lines - you've spend your amount of time in the most successful club in the world mostly winning MONEY, now we'd like to send you in England were titles might not be on the table, but you'd still be making tons of money! I think players want titles first and I want those players.

That is absolutely not true. First its likely a sale in size we haven't seen since Florentino took over again, which is more than a few season ago. Don't compare this to the average RM buy the stars program.

Lets have this conversation when Juventus have the capacity to lure players that command big wages and is capable of paying an acceptable transfer fee. When i say acceptable it usually ends up being inflated.
These are just normal market conditions of today.

For example when Kroos is available(who earns 6m net a yr) and you dont offer a fee or a wage not within normal market standards, there's no conversation. He'll choose a destination which guarantees him both money and prestige and lets not pretend like playing in a big 4 EPL club or in this case the Manchester's for the matter isnt appealing. Both would be having world class coaches at the helm next season.
Just an example.

You're being delusional, Django. That's all I'll say. We can't afford those 40M players and beat oil clubs to it. Especially as it stands we could very well miss on that CL money this season by getting eliminated.

Yep. Let them foolish believe we can lure the likes of Modric, Kroos, James....
