if morata is sold we go 433 with berardi dybala cuadrado or we sign embolo/lukaku
It would be interesting to go 4-3-3 with Dybala and Berardi but we would still need a Morata replacement as I dont think Mandzukic can play 4-3-3 - Lukaku would be very interesting - Embolo is good but I rather go for a great finisher if we play with Dybala and Berardi up front...
Dybala Lukaku Berardi sounds great - Batshuayi Could be instead of Lukaku as I think this guy has some serious talent in him

I thought Renato Sanches was already signing for Man U or some EPL that was close to signing him in past month. I havent seen full game of him except know he is hyped box to box player, explosive dynamic midfielder (huge potential in FM @Klin :D).

Still just 18, would be funny if we really going this gunho on teenage midfielders (also rumoured to Bazoer recently):

BTW a question: If Real sign Morata back and we go to sign a replacement how would you rate those:
1. Batshuayi
2. Lacazette
3. Not exactly a prima punta but breaking the bank for Aubameyang?
If Morata goes we should add 10-15 mil to that sale and buy a WC striker, a finisher, starter material. Also a problem is Mandzu, bought for around 20 mil who will be 30 this summer. I'm afraid of another Llorente case an that's why I would consdier selling him this summer while still has some value. We have Zaza as a good choice for CF who is younger & italian so keeping him instead of Manzu makes much sense.

Out: Morata & Manzu = 50 mil
In: WC striker for 50-55 mil & maybe Matri God on loan, again, for low $$ to be a 4-5th choice.
With 5 mil at most investment, you get a great upgrade upfront. I would go for someone who has clinical finishing and also some good experience.

No. Mandzukic is unsellable he will remain our main striker next year and beyond. 30 is nothing in terms of age can easily get three to four more good years out of him.

Yeah, complete box to box engine of a mid, deserves to be in a top team.
He's good but I find him a bit inconsistent. Let's see what comes out of this, usually mexican media always gets this things wrong but I have never seen so many fuzz about a rumour like this, it's everywhere.

so you like him :D

Interesting :hihi:

I heard Renato has a 80m release clause
Me toó. Way toó much. I'd rather offer 20m or 30m less for Gundogan or Verrati but only in case we lost Pogba (I really hope he doesn't leave).

I also thing that Herrera would be interesting as cm option, specially if we send Lemina back to france and padoin back his home (I still dont know where can we send Hernanes, no a clue)

The problem is that Mandzu won't score 28-30 + goals in a season (50 games). From our attackers only Dybala is standing out and claiming a regular starter spot, while Mandzu / Morata and even Zaza are competing for the 2nd spot. They are different typology of striker and that gives us some tactical flexibility, but Mandzu is not the goalgetter that we need...a goalscorer equal to Dybala's performances as a SS.

I'm still shocked how we got Alex Sandro. Never in a million years I thought we'd get him.

:beppe:
You know why we got him? Because We didn't fuck around that time. they asked for x, we paid x. (no, not that @X :shifty:)

IIRC City were the only other "big" team being linked to him but we acted first and closed the deal fast. Also based on what I've watched on some of his interviews, he supported us against Barça and always liked Juventus. So probably an easy choice on his part.

What? If we have Mandzu and Dybala each scoring 20-25 goals in all comps per year, that is more than enough goals from our starting forwards. Dybala is easily on pace for that this year, and Mandzu without injuries would be too. He's not a particularly injury-prone player either so this year is an outlier. He's scored between 20-26 goals each of the last 3 years in under 50 matches each year. That's great and easily the goal scoring CF we need beside Dybala who also looks capable of easily scoring 20+ a year.

Just because a few 100 mil players in La Liga playing in super teams running up the score against minnows score 40-50 or more each year doesn't mean this is some necessity in order to be a top team. We can easily do it with two top attackers like Dybala and Mandzu.
