Besides the Beckham and Figo bits (Figo defended too), he's actually right for a change. Zidane did his fair share of defensive work and was decent at it. Others behind him obviously did more, but Zizou wasn't the Platini/Totti type of trequartista who didn't defend. Zidane did less defensive work at Real and for France later on.

Imagine if Calciopoli never happened, how our attack would have looked. Trez, Ibra (easily one of the best 5 players in the last two or three generations), Alex and anyone else. We could have made loads of money on sales too (at their normal prices). That is the stuff of dreams.

Decent stats from Saponara this season but he's a frustrating player, often looses the ball and just stops there. Too often tries 1v1 considering how many of them he loses. Not saying he's bad but pretty far from Juve starter material.
