Your full-muppet mode is boring... :p

Full muppet mode is:

Verratti + James

Win CL 3x in a row.
I should have clarified; Realistic Full Muppet Mode.

Verratti + James would be epic, but it's never gonna happen.

Biglia, De Sciglio & Parolo per favore
:yuck: :inter: Come on man. Wishlist thread, not the underwhelming and depressing end to the mercato thread.

It's too bad we didn't trade Pogba for Verratti straight up. I wouldn't have even cared that Pogba is worth more. Send le Francais to Paris, and bring the Italian back home.
:agree: I rate Pogba more than I do Verratti, but the difference is negligible, so that would have been an awesome trade. Regrettably, our management didn't think along the same lines, or some other shit :boh:

maybe we could see

khedira-marchisio-pjaca
--------pjanic
---dybala-higuain

could work as a 4-3-3 in transition with dybala on the right wing and pjaca on the left. higuain might not adapt to a two man attack so well so that could be an alternative.
pjaca is a LW that could also play CF or SS

And you placed him behind the regista

PSG can say "nope" and wont care if the contract runs out and he goes for free

Juventus would get significant damage if pogba would go for free after 3 years

We're signing James.
And here i was thinking fabregas is too much

:agree:

Fabregas + Diawara IN
Hernanes + Pereyra OUT

:tuttosport:
Might happen actually...
Hernanes might get sold but he might stay I think Allegri likes him as a deep laying playmaker (as a sub of course)
Pereyra is actually a good player but he seems to be missing that extra that will make him a WC one! so selling him wouldnt be such a bad decision although I hope it wont be to Napoli as I can see him fulfilling his potential there!

Might be interesting to see it but Im still unsure it would be balanced enough..
Anyway to the ones dissing Fabregas quality - Chelsea had a crappy year but before that he assisted 18 goals! he is actually the 2nd best assist guy after Ozil! (Third will go to De Bruyne even if he is quite disappointing at City)

- Traore is loaned to Ajax
- PSV wants Kenedy on loan
- Kante, Loftus-Cheek, Oscar, Obi Mikel, Fabregas & Matic doesn't play on Cuads position.

So he has 'only' Moses, Hazard, Pedro & Willian as concurrents.

EDIT:

Oh sorry didn't read your sentence '

He will obviously play Kante, Willian and Hazard. Fabregas, Cuadrado & Matic are his best other options.

@Osman have you followed Fabregas lately ? Can you tell us what you think about the quality he's capable of reaching ?
Silly question, Fabregas is a top quality playmaker, regressed a bit (or let says less inspiring then he used to be) in latter years but its most likely motivational issue (he has been at top level since friggin 16) or simply not fitting in with Barca with his direct style. But is pretty much a guranteed creative hub for any team, aslong as the team ticks he will deliver ridicolous amount of scoring opportunities and direct assists (only two seasons ago17 friggin assists in just ONE HALF OF THE SEASON). Kinda known quality most fans take for granted but he would add something to most top teams not named Barca or Real for sure (and in Barca's case Rakitic isnt even better offensively, but is better defensively).

My claim was that pogba needed 'a solid midfield behind him to perform'. Now we still got that solid midfield, but the Pogba is gone. I've always held Fabregas in incredible high regard. The way i see it, he is by far and away the best player we have been linked with.

Marchisio behind Pjanic and Fabregas is absolutely on par with any midfield in the world in therms of offensive output. I recall Fabregas from Arsenal beeing in the middle and also pulling his defensive work when instructed.

Maybe i'm overrating him, but he would always start in a 3man midfield at madrid if i was the coach.
