Except Higuain > Mandzukic/Morata easily as much as Pogba > Pjanic

Khedira-Marchisio-Pjanic
----Dybala-Higuain

is easily equivalent to, if not better than:

Khedira-Marchisio-Pogba
----Dybala-Mandzu

The only problem right now is that Marchisio is out for almost half the season. Otherwise this team would be complete and $#@!ing incredible.
You quote my post but you dont seem to read it...
There are no questions as to how we became better in attack and probably our whole team has improved - Yes probably even without Pogba as well BUT the whole issue of my post was MIDFIELD!
Our midfield is not as good as it was last season (taking into account that Pogba will leave) and other then a really strong player I`d say last year`s mid is better than this coming year`s midfield!

He still has never been our best player aside from a few game long stretches, here and there.

Marchisio > Pogba in 2014-15 by a country mile.

And Dybala was far more of a game-changer for us last season when looking across the entire season.
Are you for real?!
Marchisio had a great season there is no doubt about it but Pogba was actually far better!
We had 3 midfielders better than Marchisio that year Pirlo Pogba and Vidal! Not saying Marchisio wasnt playing well as he played great! However that year we had a monster midfield! Pogba was at his 2nd best season before he stepped up his game this past year!
Marchisio is a great player really but seriously I have noticed something in here and you are probably not the only one in here to do it - Marchisio is being waaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyy overrated in here!
Marchisio is a good player, No he is a great player but there are other midfielders who are at least as good as he is!

Lets make some things straight Marchisio isnt the best midfielder in the world and has never been anywhere near it
Dybala isnt at Tevez level and would probably finish this season without reaching it! Yap he might score 20 goals in the league and will be a great player for us but he isnt at that level yet!
Khedira is good but even at his best he is not at Vidal`s level!
Alves isnt a god! He is a good attacking right back whose defensive ability isnt really amazing!
If all players were as great as some here would suggest we would have thrashed Bayern last season and not go out! (Bayern are great but their past year has been awful in the CL IMO)

It's not too good in the sense that we need the money. We will be fine without it. It's too good in the sense that Pogba is not worth that much and our management think they can improve the team by selling him and buying other players, Higuain + CM. I agree with them in general, even though I wouldn't spend the money on Higuain.

I think if we really didn't want to accept, he would have agreed to stay, for a bigger wage of course. There has been no indication of anything else. I mean, if he was so keen on moving there, they wouldn't offer him more than double his current wage. This whole thing "we only sell if the player wants to go" is a story for the fans. How do you imagine that happens? Pogba says, "I want to stay" and we refuse all offers, 100m, 120m, 200m, we don't sell. Next year he says, "I want to go" and we transfer list him and wait for the best offer, which is 80m and we sell...

If Pogba demanded a transfer and Marotta is the tooth fairy or sth and always accommodates, why are Manure paying us 120m? That's a lot of money. Why not 80m or 60m? Would we still sell if the highest offer was 60m? I don't think so. So, it turns out that we only sell if he wants to go AND we get what we want.

Bottom line, "we only sell if the player wants to go" is a story for the fans. Like Vidal. Most likely, the management had a falling out with him because of the drinking and car crash, and the attitude, and we decided to sell. But the story is convenient for everyone. The board doesn't get blamed for selling a popular player, while Vidal gets to say how he loves Bayern and his whole life up to now was merely preparation for this moment, and the Bayern fans love it. Much better than "I was happy at Juve, but they kicked me out because I'm a drunkard."
Its quite simple. We don't need the money from Pogba to improve the team, as shown at the beginning of the mercato when we got Pjanic, Alves and Benatia for under their value. So sacrificing Pogba to improve the team is BS. Youre right, it doesent exactly work like that, however it isn't as you described it either. With Vidal we had little leverage, 2 years on his contract, him wanting only one team and Bayern using the situation well. With Pogba, we have a desperate team that wants to buy themselves back into the top, we got Real sneaking and still 3 years on his contract so we have leverage to drag this out and get what we want in the end. If he refused an extension and was to be sold next summer, we would likely get less, but it would still be 100M range because we will again have a number of clubs interested. So if Pogba asked to be sold, we will sell him, but we are doing a hell of a job to get our demands fulfilled if that's the case. Ofcourse, if Pogba didnt request a transfer, we will reject the offer and keep him, because we are in a position to do so. Clubs that pay Higuain release clauses, arent happy to accept huge offers for their superstars, otherwise we would look like clowns

Ah you mean CL. So we sell Pogba to try to win the CL? How about keeping Pogba and try win the CL? We can easily afford that money wise
You mean we'll look like clowns if we don't win the CL?

I tried to explain the situation as clearly as possible. If you still haven't got it, your not gonna get it.

What else do you mean by winning on the pitch? The CL is the only thing left for us to win, obviously, we are a scudetto winner and easily CL quarterfinals level team without Higuain, so tell me, what is it that doesent make a club thats happy to accept 120M for Pogba and at the same time happy to pay 90M for Higuain look like clowns? Not one club on the planet would willingly do this

Nothing is guaranteed in football. People ought to have learned by now. And I said, I don't particularly like the Higuain deal, but I was explaining why we are selling Pogba for 120m.

Nothing is guaranteed which is why I said 'try to win the CL' for which you replied with 'so we will look like Clowns if we don't win the CL?'

Whether you like the deal or not doesent matter, we are a club that paid 90M for Higuain. We will not happily accept 120M for Pogba unless he made us do so

You really have turned into a full-blown retard. Yeah, we'll look like clowns for signing the 3rd best striker in football of the last 7-8 years, as far as goal-scoring goes.

And Pogba better than Higuain right now. FFS.

Delusional nutter.

Fuck Pogba. I hope he leaves just so you cry a little more.

We try to win it every year and we'll keep trying. Believe it or not, in the 60 year history of the competition, a team without Pogba has won every time.

And lol at 120M for Pogba and 90M for Higuain as if those are the only moves we are making.

We've spent 120M on Higuain and Pjanic. Which means funds for Pogba = Pjanic + Higuain.

I'd take that trade 100 times out of 100. Those 2 combined easily make up for losing Pogba.

You have been way way worse then him, so you aren't one to judge at all. He is just giving his opinion..
While you unraveling a bit with how sudden and extreme your so called opinions are now, like you are desperately clinging and trying to cope with new reality.

The same Higuain you shit on weekly for solid two years is now waaaaaaaaay better then Pogba I'm sure you rated very highly. But hey all that matters is one just joined and the other is leaving so everything changes on a dime for you.
