I actually think he'd do great here. Him as a starter would be fantastic. If Evra managed to do it then I'm sure Alves would do even better. With Sandro and him on our flanks we'd finally have amazing penentration (yes, Voller, yes, we know) and great crosses.

I actually think he'd do great here. Him as a starter would be fantastic. If Evra managed to do it then I'm sure Alves would do even better. With Sandro and him on our flanks we'd finally have amazing penentration (yes, Voller, yes, we know) and great crosses.

Because he's extremely unlikable. Personality aside, as a free transfer he's obviously a good signing, but I do think he would have been a better fit for a league that requires less discipline than Serie A.
