Yes, because Isco is a big game player and he has been great for Spain so far. lol
It's beyond absurd to compare the two at this point. Ozil is head and shoulders above Isco atm.
Isco's performance doesn't dip in big games. You don't know what you're talking about. Last big game he played was vs City, and he was one of the only four players on the pitch who did well.
Ozil completely disappears in any competitive game every single time.
No, he isn't. You can argue who's better. There's a wrong opinion there, but it's fine unless one says Ozil is "head and shoulders above" Isco. If you do that, then you're overrating Ozil and underrating Isco (aka being wrong about both players), and being silly like when you compared Saponara with Isco, lol.
Juventus flies to Germany for the midfield with the Bianconeri having set their sights on two midfielders from the Bundesliga. The first is Christoph Kramer, the second is Mahmoud Dahoud.Paratici was in Monchengladbach to view the two talents-La Stampa
Not sure what Kramer brings to the team.Definitely dont see him as a creative outlet.
BS rumor obviously. They're linking us with Kramer and other random players who can play the holding role because Marchisio is injured.
Any CM we buy should at least compete with Khedira.
#TS report that #Juve have been monitoring #Lacazette [€40m] for a long time. Along with #Cavani, he's a target.
Lacazette would be a fantastic replacement if Morata leaves but i just cant see Lyon selling him for less than €50-€60M.
He isn't worth more than 40m.
Yet Ozil has done better anywhere he played then isco, since the latter left Malaga.
Ozil has decided big games. Isco fails in big games.
Soz, but it's obvious that you don't know much about Ozil or Isco. Isco's form doesn't depend on whether it's a big game or small game. It depends on what patch of form he's going through currently. And Ozil is the official flag-bearer of players who disappear in big games.
Preseason 2013 was when a direct comparison could be made. Isco was miles better, and Ozil was subsequently sold afterwards. Isco had a great start to that season before his form dropped slightly, and Di Maria, in his best-ever season, took over and gave the team more balance in a 3-man midfield. Ozil couldn't have done better than either of them in Ancelotti's more possession-based system just like how he has failed at Arsenal since then.
Whether he'll realize his full potential or not, I don't know, but at least Isco has the potential to be a top-10 player in the world. His weaknesses right now are not releasing the ball soon enough and going through patches of form. Only way he can get rid of those issues fast is if he plays regularly, but he has players like Modric, Kroos, Ronaldo and Bale ahead of him. He got more playing time last season, esp when Ancelotti was playing 442, and Isco was Real's 2nd-best player for a couple of months. Bale being off form last season definitely helped too.
Marotta making it clear that we wont get Isco
It was clear even before Marotta said anything. James is on the chopping line, not Isco. Real doesn't want to sell, and Isco doesn't want to leave (even though he probably should). And we can pay 40m for a player now but not more than that.
Why are we even bothering to talk about Ozil. I highly doubt he would be for sale. He would cost a bomb.
Would be a bad signing for us even if he were affordable. We don't need any help in Serie A. We need players who can deliver in the CL knockouts. That's exactly what Ozil wouldn't do, and he'd slow our game down and make our midfield physically weaker on top of that.

Nice. We've been linked with him since winter. Amazing deal for 2m if he turns out WC or a very good sub in the future. Will be a club HG player in 3 years.
