The way i see it: this is effectively the talent pool we are considering from at the moment. Eventually we may not cover all positions ideally, owing to Marchisio's injury and Cuadrado's loan situation. The replacement and/or additions across positions are likely coming from this list.

Looks like a Michael Ballack-type of midfielder to me, has size but also strong technique and can pass and shoot the ball well over distance.

Tonelli would be great but he wants to play. Just like Saponara. And Benatia is fantastic but he is also injury prone.
