He's a good player but can he be more than just that? Hard to say when you play at a mediocre Lazio. It's a risk.

On the other hand if we were willing to pay 18M or thereabouts for the likes of Saponara, 25m for Anderson almost seems like a Bargain.

Yeah that's defenitely a reason for me to want to gamble on Anderson if it's a doable price, if it's choosing him over likes of Saponara who has a less limited ceiling.

Usually we find out earlier if we got a freebie. I'm surprised. There are rumours of a couple of prospects like Ikone and Boutobba. There was Ganz yeah but of Khedira/Pirlo...calibre not really.

There were weak links to van der wiel but let them remain weak.
