This season he started first league game and the super cup final. Today on the bench since Modric is back from suspension /injury. But Zidane seems to like him more so far this season, Kovacic plays over both Isco and James and is first choice in rotation for midfield.
Lemina seems to be a decent vice-Marchisio thus far.
We've managed to beat Lazio and Fiorentina without Marchisio or Pjanic... Much better than last season without Marchisio when we were dropping points at home to Frosinone and Udinese...
Our shape is in place this season. We arent trying out weird formations and a new system so thats certainly better than before. Our players know the system.
Lemina is doing okay as would Hernanes but I was kind of hoping for better than okay. We need our midfield to be world class with or without marchisio. I have no worries about Serie A we should win it even without Pjanic thats how big the gap between us and the rest is. I want Juve to start obliterating other teams. Grinding out narrow wins should be the exception not the rule. Every Serie A club should come in hoping to avoid a humiliating thrashing rather than trying to get a draw or nick a win. Our vast superiority on paper is not yet showing on the pitch.

So the chance of him being allowed to leave is minimal at best?
I really don't like where we are right now. No good options available. Marchisio is desperately needed back but we don't know how much have the injury affected his game...
Strobl and Kramer seems to be preferred by Schubert. Pretty sure it's the lack of consistency that young players often portray, that keeps Dahoud from the starting line-up. Can't really fault Schubert. Gladbach have been looking really good in the start up by hammering Young Boys (sounds so wrong) and beating Leverkusen today.
