Bundesliga despite their shitty product is much more savvy than Serie A. Serie A sells north american rights to Bein which get no carriage and only has 2 networks available for carriage, but is premium meaning you pay $18 per month. Bein also owns la liga, ligue 1, and now Championshit. La Liga is always prioritized over Serie A so few games are shown unless you have an online subscription.

Meanwhile Bundesliga sold to Fox & Rogers, which own endless networks that are carried on basic. The EPL is owned by NBC IIRC so, there is no competition. In Canada, Rogers owns EPL rights too but Rogers has like 6 networks available on basic.

Serie A went for the pay day instead of the strategic move. I would never sell my rights to Bein.
How long is the beinsports deal?

The funny thing is that before Bein sports obtained the rights, I was able to watch all the Serie A matches through ESPN on my Xbox 360, or any other device that had the app. @Hustini and @Kyle can attest to this. Serie A would NEVER be on regular or cable TV. If you didn't have RAI International, this was the only way to watch it, and it was great. Especially waking Kyle up at 6 in the morning to watch the matches

Wtf, better then Suarez?

higuain is way more complete. just look at his goals last season vs suarez. suarez is mostly scoring tap ins. higuain is creating for himself, outside the box, in the box, left foot, right foot, header.

They just renewed it so 2018.

First season was 2015-2016 and are usually 3 years I believe so:
2015-2016
2016-2017
2017-2018

It used to be on the Score in Canada. Which is now owned by Rogers. Serie A pulled their content away from the networks at a very bad time. Basically all networks in north america are heavily investing in sports right now (and they pulled their content, just as content it was getting valuable), and are looking to show more sports. If they had reupped with Rogers or signed with Fox, they would get a ton of carriage. Having rights with Disney isn't smart because its so competitive and has a lot of non-game content. The smart thing is to sign with an NBC, or Fox. Or in Canada, Rogers or Bell.

And he's a master of flipping that meat. A lot of people don't know it, but that's the key to a perfectly grilled meat.

Keep this sh*t out of the transfer thread. If you want to discuss Dortmund 2.0 save it for elsewhere. And our midfield would have 2 players in a combined best 3 man midfield. Plus this is a team that was outclassed when we played Hernanes as regista  we have a knack for getting the best out of players when it matters.
He actually right! Marchisio Khedira Pjanic isnt as strong as the Bayern Real and Barca midfield! Anyone who will say otherwise is a biased Juve fan!
Marchisio is good but not amazing same goes for Khedira! Pjanic is great but 1 doesnt make an amazing midfield!
In order to get an amazing midfield we need 1 Pogba (as he provides quality and physicality)! Verratti would be a sheer upgrade in quality but we would still need a physical presence in our midfield!
To sum it up we need 1 WC player in midfield who can also provide some physicality or 1 WC player + 1 very good physical player!
Yaya Toure is an old geezer but if he can play in top of his ability for a season or two I can see him as a good physical player which will upgrade our midfield

I love people who bash Serie A, while giving Bundes a pass. Yeah. Bundes with 1 CL victory in 15 years.

For reference Serie A has won 3 CL in those 15 years.
0 for us tho   :sigh:

He agrees because people want to overrate German teams for some reason. There was a very short timeframe in which Bayern really was the best team in the world, but it was just one season and they've strongly declined ever since.
  :howler:

Honestly it's easier to say more creative player is more promising, but Tielemans for me, first impression was big, as a 16 year old bossing Arsenals midfield, kind of natural ability that few have. And youth NT games shown similar promise.

But talent alone isn't everything, what is he, 19 now? He needs to progress and leave Belgium when he does. But I seen him very little so who knows, but big talent is obvious when you see them.

Thanks for the assessment Osman
Even if we don't get Tielemens, I will attempt to watch him at every opportunity I get.

*That's not our current or past midfield. In a 4231 it was Thiago-Vidal or Alonso-Vidal (aided by inside FBs). I expect Carlo to play a 433 with Renato-Thiago-Vidal, Renato-Javi-Vidal, Thiago-Javi-Vidal or a 41212 with those four at the same time, Alonso should be a bench-warmer/youngster-mentor.

That being said, I frankly don't think Khedira Pjanic and Marchisio are on par with us or the Spaniards, plus you have a huge injury unreliability issue. I'm sad you sold Pogba (although glad now he's unlikely to end up at Barça or Madrid :D ). Sorry but the Higuaín-in & Pogbye doesn't make sense to me at the prices you conducted your business ;S

(As always, just sharing my opinion, not trying to incite hate or pick a fight).

You will find that a few of us more reasonable and unbiased posters actually agree with your astute assessment kind sir :)

I knowwww im so excited about this season and about the potential of a Renato-Vidal partnership. Solo not fun for opponents :D

It will be great for Renato to learn from arguably the best box-to-box mid of his generation in Vidal. Will no doubt be hell to play against that duo.
