good, the less he plays/performs the better for us, not that i rate him highly but realistically hes prolly the best we can get
this.

if he performed as some expected he would be straight of to one of the nouveau riche.

hardly call it a marquee signing, look at the names we were linked with over the last 2 years, from Jovetic to Aguero and look we actually ended up with - Vucinic, giovinco, bendtner on loan, anelka on a short term deal and finally llorente for next season. I hardly call that impressive. and to think on top of that we were chasing belfodil in the last 24 hrs just screams desperation, but thats nothing new, why can't we go after david villa? we should have done more but marotta just shits his pants and goes for the easiest option
And yet you'd be satisfied with an down hill Drogba on 5m / year wages :howler: You can't even be consistently lame.

be nice :) quag is pretty useless and he said to "raise funds" not sure ho else you woudl raise funds than to sell a player who would at least get some suitors
you are right, but dropping down to 4 strikers is dangerous. especially if one of them is Anelka, of whom we dont know yet how he'll be

also, we tried to sell quag, but only fiorentina had vague interest

Since we are so dry on money, id be willing to let him go while we can still make money on him

I realize he is our most consistent. Apparently we need money and we won't make it from selling padoin and peluso.

I'd also probably not take up the option on isla. Slowly giving up on him
What about our vertically challenged starter thats adds absolutely nothing? He plays far more than Quag, yet Quag scores more and you could probably sell him for more but Quag is the one to be sold. Quag is top scorer for Serie A and CL, but sell him, he is useless. Not like that great player that starts every game and is always decisive and comes up with the goods when we need him to.

'Just give him more chances' 'The team is underperforming, not his fault'

Great logic.
