well to finish buttom of the group where they should have finished atleast second if not win, definetly isnt a great achievement.....but well, they also got some new faces in their team, maybe the teamwork just didnt work that well..... i think they will keep him at the end of this season, and then it depends what position they are.....ofcourse, if they start to drop in epl, out of top 4, and it starts to look as they might not q for next CL, then they will sack him......

although i dont care at all....they mind as well go out of epl also......"talking about rooney is the best" ahahhahaha look where those bests got......

Cartainly, some changes must be done, but if he leaves ,Man U must have some good options for the replacement, because now they must be focussed on the domestic Championship, which is far from over.

Fergie would definitely sacked, but at least not in a middle of the season.
Club rarely go far if they changes manager at that time....

About 2 years ago, when Fergie`s contract expired,
he shouldn`t extend his contract with Man U,
his name were still good at that time.
Man U also at the start of regeneration, bringing youngsters to replace the likes of giggs, scholes, .........

That's why he started the rolling one-year contract, isn't it? If he's leaving it'll most probably be because his contract isn't renewed.

He'll be asked to resign, but not sacked..that would be the stupidest move to do to a man of his style

Fergie's style was always putting great players in a easy formation, he was never a great tactician. Now he seems completely unable to find great players(maybe some key scouting guys left), and he hasn't gotten the same enourmous amounts of talent from the youth team(that one generation really was special).

He just seems old and out of it now, and should leave.

I think putting the whole blame on Fergie is quite unfair. Don't forget that Man U is/will go through a financial crises due to Glazer's acquisition. +700 mill is no easy debt, and cutting back on the transfer budget seems inevitable. IMO this acquisition marks the dowfall of the great Man U!
