Why are some people calling the Man Utd v Arsenal FA Cup final
mouth-watering? Until someone explains to me what is so exciting
about watching two teams that have had mediocre seasons and have
monopolised the Cup for years, my mouth will remain as dry as the Sahara desert.

Why? Firstly there has been a great rivalry between us since about 1992, this is the FIRST time the two have played in a competitive final since 1972? I think, plus contray to what you think Man Utd and Arsenal haven’t been “mediocre” in fact in any other season ever we’d of won the league with more points ever, and there is also Man Utd have been the better “footballing” side in the Premiership this season, ask any “non-biased” EPL fan and they will say the same thing, this is the last chance for both clubs to win something this season so both will be give 150% to win the game, and with the recent history between the clubs, players and managers how can anyone NOT find this game exciting?

so, alex ferguson is on the brin of the sack. after yesterday's disgraceful display at Everton, I think not a few fans will be quietly callin 4 his head. Man Utd finally played a game in which the ref wasn't afraid to apply the rules fairly :D the result is that Everton recorded a great win and the two red cards were fully deserved. I hope this ref gets the Cup Final

Oh, it is indeed so Fred. I know a few Man Utd fans who actually wanted Man Utd to lose to Newcastle in the FA Cup and finish 3rd behind Arsenal so the board can ask him to leave. One said that if Fergie manages to win the FA Cup, he'll just be buying time for himself, when it has become clear that he's run out of ideas. They are not ready to give him 6 years to build another team.
