Doesn't always follow my dear. Methinks that Arsenal have more to play for in terms of pride. Afterall, they were 'unbeatable' until October 28 2004. And IMO, they'd have found it easier to bear the loss if it were West Brom, afterall, we all knew that the unbeaten run had to close out one day. But for it to be ManU...
I'd love to quote everyone who wrote us off, so sorry I picked on you chxta, but those who can feel throughly fooled right now is David Del Piero and Burke...
Not only did we win 4-2, we completely and utter destoryed them, it was the right result as well, Arsenal didnt deserve to win and they did, not only were we down to 10men, we also had to handle Arsenal's underhand tactics, there was alot of shameful diving/'playacting' from them, and there was Vieira threating our players at the start, and thats where the magical Roy Keane said to him, 'have to a go' at him if he wants a fight. He said 'that if anyone is going to pick on MY players, then I'll do something about it', that is why he is the greatest captain. It wouldnt be underestimatation to say there are some at United who'd walk to hell with Keane, name me other Captain's who inspire that kind of loyalty?
But it doesnt end that, Keane was fantastic in the game, Man Of The Match without doubt...Roy Keane is the greatest, and in my opinion the best in the world ever, I dont know what Maradona did in his time at Napoli I dont know if he won many titles, but in my opinion Roy Keane has been the single most influencial/important player in our history, that includes players like Charlton/Best/Law/Cantona/Schmeichel. Roy Keane is god!
