what a beautiful game that Arsenal played so far this season with attacking mentality scoring 9 goals and recieving 4 in just 2 games reyes is a great verstile full of energy , bergkamp matured and his vision is unbelievable , the really suprise is that young confident fabregas he plays calmy and simple he passes are acurate , there defnce is shaken without campel i don't think they will give him away to juve :(

on the other hand , chelski's games was the worst and BORING with defensive mentality .

man u are facing bad luck with most of thier team injured but i think they will be back in the race once thier forwards recover from injuries and suspensions

liverpool ,, too soon to tell but they don't look promising

other teams ,,, no team else need to be mentioned

Best of the weekend:

Player of the Weekend: Thomas Gravesen

The inspirational Dane held off strong competition from Andy Cole and Ricardo Carvalho, but leading his team to a a vital victory at Selhurst Park, meant he got our vote.

Goal of the Weekend: Patrik Berger

Wonderful piece of skill from Czech who in the style of Thierry Henry, chipped up the ball before unleashing a brilliant volley past Charlton's Dean Kiely. A possible goal of the season on only the second weekend of the campaign!

Save of the Weekend: Paul Robinson

Tottenham's new keeper helped them to a brilliant win over Newcastle. His save from James Milner's volley was top-draw and deserved our award.

Pass of the Weekend: Jose Antonio Reyes

The young Spaniard produced a sparkling display in Arsenal's thrilling 5-3 victory over Middlesbrough on Sunday. The former Sevilla man set-up the opening goal of the game by producing a sublime 60-yard ball from deep inside his own half to find Thierry Henry and his inch-perfect pass was duly dispatched by the Frenchman.

Miss of the Weekend: Didier Drogba

Well what do you want for over £20 million? Mr Abramovich would expect his African star to score with the goal at his mercy from just five yards.

Error of the Weekend: Shaka Hislop

Misery for the giant Trinidad & Tobagan star as he helped Charlton to victory with his clanger in the last few minutes at The Valley. A special award for referee Andy D'Urso, who awarded Barry Ferguson two bookings but no red card.

Moment of the Weekend: Arsenal comeback

Middlesbrough threatened to spoil the party at Highbury when going 3-1 up but, after Bergkamp had pulled one back, Pires levelled and then Reyes scored a cracker stright from the kick-off to somehow put Arsenal back in front. Increadible stuff from the champions.

 Yeah, D'Urso was tremendous  The Ferguson situation was pathetic, not to mention gifting Beattie a stoppage time penalty which was completely non-existent.

 I still can't believe he didn't give him the red card after two yellow cards.

We have beeing talking about Russians buying EPL clubs. Well guess what, another sale has taken place.

Sunday Times reports that Boris Zingarevich- a manufacturing guy from S. Petersburg is about to buy a control package of shares of Everton FC for $36,52 million.

Will be officially announced shortly.

Whose Everton gonna buy now?
Rumoured Finnan and Traore, but I think that might be some piss-taking. For a start, they're both Liverpool players, and secondly, Finnan is starting for Liverpool at the moment - they wouldn't want to sell.

He might not like him (and the purchase of Josemi kind of suggests that alright), but for the moment, he's the only player they have who can play on the right wing, short of moving Gerrard over there, or trying one of the youth players.

Ref D’Urso’s Handling To Be Probed

The Football Association intends to investigate why referee Andy D’Urso did not send off Barry Ferguson during Blackburn’s defeat by Southampton on Saturday.
D’Urso cautioned Ferguson twice in Blackburn’s 3-2 defeat but, unaccountably, did not show him the obligatory red card after the second offence.

FA head of refereeing, John Baker, said: "We have to ask why he was not sent off and the role of the fourth official, who should have told him what had happened.

"It’s the FA’s responsibility to hear when things are not quite right. The first responsibility is the referee’s but there is a responsibility of the fourth official. But it was right at the end of the game and it happened very quickly. That has to be taken into account and we cannot anticipate what will happen."

Ferguson is still expected to serve a one-match suspension for his double booking - despite not being sent off.

"It would seem pretty logical that two bookings would mean he will be suspended," added Baker.
