Agreed. Khedira pre-ACL injury was actually a very good CM, there’s a reason why he was a mainstay for Madrid and Germany. Still a tactically smart player now, but just painfully slow and not good enough in the defensive phase.

Thats what i have been saying since long time ago. Holding back pjanic and letting this less skilled brawlers pour forward is a crime.

Hes quite physical, if he can get at the end of some of Matuidi/Spinazzola crosses, he can be quite dangerous and provide value without the ball. I think Bentancur will get ~30 minutes so expect Emre to go all out in the hour hell play
