Again, there’s a reason this guy was never listed under the “midfielder” category for his country. They could only ever trust him as a RB - even when they had injuries to key players during friendlies. I think that alone speaks volumes about his quality as a player. Yet, here he is as a key midfield member of a club with CL aspirations.

Khedira at 23 was a cornerstone for bronze medal Germany in 2010, at 25 he was Germanys best player at the Euro. Did Emre even start playing regularly for his NT yet?
