Clubs line up for Emre Can
By Football Italia staff

Juventus have several negotiations open for Emre Can’s future, with Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund.
The midfielder turns 26 later this month and has made no secret of his desire to leave Turin just 18 months after arriving as a free agent from Liverpool.
He has made only seven Serie A appearances this season and was devastated at being left off the Champions League squad.
His January departure seems certain, but Juve have several different options on the table, making him a very valuable strategic tool on the transfer market.
The Corriere dello Sport sees Emre Can heading to Paris Saint-Germain as part of an exchange deal with Leandro Paredes.
There is also the possibility he could move to PSG on loan with obligation to buy at the end of the season for €30-40m.
La Gazzetta dello Sport considers a return to the Bundesliga more likely for Emre Can, with Borussia Dortmund hoping to add him to Erling Braut Haaland in the January window.
However, the Daily Express newspaper claims Manchester United are making a strong bid for the former Liverpool midfielder.

Does 30m-40m count as plusvalenza? I know he has high wages and the fees might be taken into account.

All of those teams are too big for him. Should take a role in a smaller team for his level.

No clue what possessed Juve to sign him in the first place
He started at Liverpool. He just needs to play in the right system. He’s clearly EPL proven and unlike Sarri, Allegri did utilize him successfully. He’s at worse a depth player on a good team or at worst a starter on a Europa caliber team. He is also getting call ups for Germany.

For whatever reason he is a horrible fit for Sarri, enough that Sarri would rather play Cuadrado as a CM over him, and he is overpaid. But he is 25 years old, when considering wage inflation and a possible discount, I’m sure that’s compelling to a team like Manchester United.

At best you mean. At best he's a depth player at a good team. Through and through mediocre.

I dont think hes bad or that Sarri hates him but that he has a big money sign on his head that isnt worth the 5th midfielder tag. Sell for 35 mil and collect the plus V for a new guy hopefully being Eriksen. Also you have to think that new tax break makes us want to change our as many depth players as possible right now especially on high wages

Mediocre player on high wages.

We need to purge most of our midfield players. I can't wait to see a revamped, revitalized quality midfield. It will happen someday, maybe in 2050, but it'll eventually become a reality.
