I heard today from the Most reliable source I know that Milan has signed Emerson.
For me its a better confirmation than any media outlet.
Trust me on this one.
We'll I don't see Milan being desperate to get Emerson. Your midfiled is great. Anyway, Milan and Juve don't fight for players. Moggi knows that Milan want Torres and he won't go after him just like Milan know we want Emerson and they'll let us have him.

I hope that is true. I think the relationship between Milan and Juve officials is very good; almost like they respect each other.

Well our relationship has to be good since according to Inter and Roma we are the Mafia of Serie A  or maybe the only management with a brain.
The Emerson thing is sealed....done deal.
Yeah, sealed with Juve for 15m euros. Pre-contract was made this winter with the player. I have my contacts too. :D

I hope for you that your source is not a Milan fan club of your region President that said it to you. They're worse than Tuttosport and La Gazzetta... ;)

I think the latter would be more of the truth.

Hmmm, I like that, the Mafia of Serie A. I am sure there was some conspiracy two years ago when we won the Scudetto, due to the fact that Inter lost 4-2, or something like that, while Juve had to beat Udinese away. I think Inter should have stood up, and took the blame for their lost cause, instead of blaming the better teams in Serie A.

Inter and Roma: not true professionals.

am i the only guy not to want emerson?? He will cost us a significant wedge of cash, plus we will be giving roma money.

Imo emerson is a expensive and innefficient purchase, for that money we could easily have mexes and ferrari playin at centre half, plus probably gila in the mix as well, all for the money forr 1 playerwho is not the youngest out there.

But i get the feeling im the only person to believe this :frown:

He is not old...28.
plus,if we get him it doesn't mean we won't get Ferrari Gila.for sure not.
Emerson have great expireince in Serie-A and also with Brazil NT,good ball control, good passer,so he is good ebough,as we don't have any Really good CM,IMO.
He will play With Enzo at middle with Tach and Appiah covering.

14 million is a lot of money, especially for someone who will not be, imo that vital for us. He will add creation, etc etc, but at a high cost as also he isnt the playmaker we really need, nor is he a decent defensive dm either.

A far superior deal would be a trez lampard swap, much much better, as lamps is far superior imo.

We are not that great financially, not that healthy to go on a required spending spreer, therefore the vital areas is where we need to spend, and cb is key. Who would you rather have, emerson and bonera, or mexes and ferrari??Imo the cost of emerson will jeopordise other purchases.

Don't get mad and don't get spiteful Gobbi's. I'm just stating what is probably true:
Galliani spoke of two acquisitions to STRENGTHEN the team:

Stam and Emerson.

I know the Emerson is difficult to believe but its a done deal.

And no its not a fan who told me this..its the same individual who told me Milan is signing Nesta two months before they did so. (when everyone said it was a dead issue)

I don't blame you for not believing the source....if I were in your shoes I would not either.
Think of me when you read about though :)

You are right..for the most part.

But the 1998 Scudetto campaign was a disgusting display of officiaiting and a black eye for Serie A....8 blantantly terrible game deciding calls.....4 reprimands against officials calling for Juve.
Inter-Juve ... Ronaldo take down ...
They have a reason to still be suspicious

But in the end..yes....they are just bitter.

I think its pointless to go on about the source...I just stated something..do what you want with it. Just don't forget WHERE you heard it first.
