"I am ready to play for one of the greatest teams," he said.

"Inter, AC Milan, Juventus? How can I be made to choose? It is not up to me."

Juventus are said to be leading the chase. They are also keen on team-mate Alberto Gilardino.

However, the transfer of the young defender will only occur in June as both teams have not found a deal yet. In fact the demand and offer are still not on the same level.
