If u rush things you do not always get the best deal and we dont want our team to suffer because negotiations have been rushed, we have plenty of time till the deadline y not use it to our advantage? thats what i think anyway

They're playing tgether, not making bombs :D

Just kidding, what I mean to say is that I dont think that will be a big problem, pre season training is mostly fitness based anyway.

OK... and we all should hope that Emerson is training on his own right now.......

Cause we ain't gonna get no men...*tries to say this in the most cocky fashion*

Seriously though, Inter got Davids and Veron, Milan got Crespo and Stam, no way that we can still get two players that are from the same calibre. These are four world class players and IMO a lot better than our so called "objectives". Not that Gilardino and Emerson are shit, but Gilardino isn't Crespo yet and I doubt that Emerson will ever reach the level of play of Davids.

Still, Capello must be getting angry. He doesn't even know yet which players he can use next season.

I don't agree, the four players you have mentioned, they are has-beens, pasted the best years of their career.
I rather have Emerson and Gilardino than all of them put together.
I'm rather concerned about the lack of quality young defenders in our teams, most of our defence is over 30.

Canna and Oddo sound good to me......

Stam = Old and past it
Crespo = Old and off form

Davids = Lazy, Past his best, Old
Veron = Pathetic

Gilardino = Amazing, yet to reach his best, On Form
Emerson = Great player, on form

I really dont see what u r saying, if we get our men we will be the best.

Stam was one of the best defenders in Europe last year. He was easily beyond all of our defenders and I'd say that only Nesta and Samuel surpassed him.

As for Davids, you wouldn't say that he was past his best if you saw him play with Barcelona. He was in amazing form, being the main reason behind that team's reversal.

Well thats true, but I find it hard to believe that Davids will produce again in the Serie A, let alone for a hogwash team like Internazionale.

micky im gonna have to say u ra bit biased.

Stam: old yes, but certainly still topclass, pace still his problem.
Crespo: not old, class forward, but not an epl striker..will be very good for ac

Davids: not lazy, maybe old and past his best, but as ian say, he injected life into barcas midfield, he and roonnie saved them
Veron: will show his class again.

Stam = age doesnt matter, he is still among the three best defenders in the world, and will continue to be so.

Davids = His age is not a problem, but i think Juve had him in his best period, and for 7 years which is enough. im not a fan of him.

Veron = ManU, Chelsea, i dont care because im sure he hasnt lost it, he is a good midfielder.

Crespo = simply a good striker.

So I think we can all agree we're not able to match the transfers of Milan and Inter. I would simply love to have one of those four players in my squad. Just look at those names.

I'm sure Gilardino and Emerson are good players, I just doubt they're able to be as good as Crespo and Davids. To be honest, I don't see this Juventus winning against AC Milan. And actually, no matter how shameful to admit, I like Milan's squad a lot. I hate their club nonetheless though :D.
