This is just like you see in the movies when two guys are driving at full speed on a collision course, and one of them has to back down or they'll both die... the winner is the one thats willing to risk it... thats Moggi... we'll get Emerson.

It says that Emo is depressed, he sent his medical papers to Roma so he can't go to training camp.

More than depression, I think he's suffering of acute Moggytis syndrome. ;)

Lets forget him and try to Ivan Gennaro Gattuso: a by far better player.
It was a joke. But then again Moggi once more is making a mockery of the transfer market.. Has he lost it? It may well be. And lost it a few years ago.

and here the whole story in english:

Emerson has not turned up to pre-season training with Roma after producing a medical certificate showing he is “depressed.”

This is the latest stage in an increasingly bitter battle between the Brazilian and the Giallorossi as he holds out for a move to Juventus.

He was set to join his teammates in the Capital on July 13, but made it clear he would not take part in any more sessions with Roma ever again.

Strong reports now claim that Emerson’s doctor sent medical certificates to the Roma camp stating they was suffering from depression and therefore could not attend training.

It’s suggested this excessive stress was created by the problematic transfer situation, as the Giallorossi will not sell him to Juventus for less than £12m or £10m plus Manuele Blasi.

However, the power is with the player, as Roma cannot afford to hold on to him until he can leave as a free agent next summer.

Its like roma is in a mini and juventus is in a monster truck in this situation..they need the money and are under pressure since his contract runs out soon.

yeah, emerson is like a great balance of attacking and defending, and isnt the quickest player, but has great passing vision.

I am not sure whether Emerson is really depressed.;). Beside, psychoanalytical term- if he joins Juve, the source of his depression, *Roma*, will be eradicated hence he should have no further problem in the future.:D.

On a serious note, I am getting sick of the whole saga, and hope Moggi realize that Emerson is a quality player, and that delay in the transfer is damaging the morale of the player. Just stop playing low ball and improve the offer for god's sake.
