Another useless midget, but thanks for the goal. An absolute nutjob when he has the ball at his feet, and if you look closely, he was thinking of dwelling a bit longer before shooting, and the shot was miscued. He is very energetic and does a lot of running, getting into dangerous positions, but he is a very limited and one dimensional player.
You should look that word up :D

It's an interesting anomaly. The worst players always score the most crucial goals. Giaccherini, Boriello, Matri...
And the best players score the unimportant goals?

Giaccherini revels in goal glory
March 10, 2013

Emanuele Giaccherini expressed his delight at coming off the bench to score what could prove to be a decisive goal in this season’s race for the Scudetto.

This afternoon’s hero spoke to the media after the final whistle and conveyed his satisfaction at helping the Bianconeri edge nine points clear of second-placed Napoli.

The 27-year-old said: “I dedicate this goal to myself. I work a great deal during the week to make sure I’m ready to seize these opportunities. I don’t know if this will turn out to be the goal that decides the Scudetto, I hope so.

“For the moment, it’s important for the team and takes us nine points clear of Napoli. The booking a minute earlier? There was contact, I fell a metre further on and maybe this confused the referee.

He almost got yellow card for removing shirt but he realize that he had a card in last second :D . Dedicating goal to himself it's kinda weird, especially from him.

Oh please! He's far from the worst. His style certainly isn't pleasant, but he at least manages to get the job done. He's at least scored decisive goals that have contributed to 6 points and provided 3 assists while being a bench player mostly. At this time, you're hating for the sake of hating. It's not even justified!
Who is Giacc better than in our current team? If i'm just hating then give me some names

Maybe Giovinco but that's about it.

That dive in the box was just awful. Ruined what could have been a great opportunity. But his goal cancelled that out, so he can remain on the bench. :) The guy will never be a regular starter for Juve, tho. He'd be better off somewhere like.... Catania. :trolldad:

Not sure what people want out of bench players these days. If Marotta spends over 5M for a bench player he gets destroyed on this forum but all our bench players are supposed to be top players.

Giaccherini does what he's supposed to do. He comes into games when we need a spark and he sparks us. Somehow. He does it. Even if he doesn't have that much talent, he has balls. He throws himself in there. He finds himself with chances because of his movement and his heart. He's not a great player so it doesn't always work out, that's why he is on the bench, durrr.

To sit on the bench for so long and come in and score a goal like that with such calm is worthy of respect. He's the one who initially switched it to Pogba and he's the one who finished up in the box. Impact. I have serious doubts any of our strikers could have executed that series of moves that he did on that goal.

Sure, you could say maybe he's the "worst player on the team" but if he's the worst player on your team, you're going to be a pretty good team. You're only as good as your weakest link and if your weakest link can do that, then I'll take it.

agree with this. non of gio or vuci would have scored on that chance today. he is an italian international, sitting on the bench without complaining. you will not find many players as disiplined.
