Not bad, but looks best out wide. At this point he would be a better choice than PDC
He basically played out wide, pretty much refuses to remain central, even left-central, drifts in now and then, but basically hugged the left flank alot behind or infront of DC.

Good enough game from him. He isn't really proficient at taking on players though, outmuscled almost every time (no surprises) and makes a lot of mistakes. But he always somehow comes up with decisive contributions.

He's good without the ball, running into space, but with the ball at his feet he is utter garbage.

Very true, he is so clumsy with the ball which is surprising given his natural position (winger)

But yeah he's quick and has good movement. Also he has a really good and positive attitude.
His backstory defines his positive attitude. It was a great story last year but this year he's not performing so he doesn't get a free pass.

Thought it was odd that in the first half Pogba was the player pushing up while Giaccherini held back to maintain the shape of the team.

He's only really effective when given the freedom to run off the ball into space.

Giacch's agent defending Giacch's inclusion in the Italy squad:

“All the Coaches that he has worked with fall in love with him,” representative Giulio Marinelli told Juve News 24.

“From Pierpaolo Bisoli to Massimo Ficcadenti, from Antonio Conte – who has always defended him in Turin – to Prandelli…

“It is true that he hasn’t played a lot, but there are considerations to make. Juventus have a European level midfield, perhaps a world class one.

“Roma’s De Rossi probably wouldn’t play in this Juventus side. Not being a first team regular in Turin doesn’t make you a bad player.”

:howler: Is he seriously comparing the likes of De Rossi to Cackerrini? De Rossi would definitely push hard for a starting spot in our midfield; this guy's agent must be on the same delusional juice that both Gio and Yuckinta's agents are on.
