I don't think it's complaining, it's just stating an opinion, which is not a controversial one. Paying that kind of money for a squad player is not very wise.
We need those players! Next season will be different to this year! We will play in 3 competitions and we want to win at least two of them! So we need a big depth in our squad! And for that Giac is a perfect addition to the team!

We spent 25 millions on Melo, 12 millions on Martinez, 9 millions on Elia... And people are crying about 7 millions that we bought Giac for.:sergio:

And of all of them Giac was the best signing!
So you name him in the same category as the other failures we had?

Indeed!

When a player does what's expected of him according to the plans of the coach and club. Giaccherini was not brought in to be Messi, he was brought in for depth. He was someone we could rely on when other players got injured, suspended or fatigued. When he came on, he did well. He provided one hell of a workrate and a few crucial assists and goals. A squad can't consist of only top players, because top players don't wanna sit on the bench. Giaccherini doesn't mind sitting on the bench, but we can rely on him giving 110% for the shirt when he comes on.
Nobody expected him to be a Messi m8 and i can't complain about workrate. And you do need players who give theire all, but i'm not so sure of Emanuele will be happy if he sits on the bench all the time, remember this will be a complete different season where we expect even more from our team and the objectives are higher then last season.

I know i'll sound like Cronios but 7/7.5 mil for Giac is too much.
It is a little steep.

However, the total cost probably comes out okay in comparison to other potential options when you factor in that Giaccherini's wage is next to nothing, by Juve standards.

Yeah if you put it that way, but 7mil for Giac and 5mil for Padoin and 5mil for Esti and that's 17 mil combined with their total wich could buy a very good player, yeah i know some of you will say depth but we have enough of it, all the players i listed are basically not needed or could replaced by some young players.

I like this player, and I like this feel good story. :D

One of those guys who's clearly well liked, and a good influence in the locker room.

Not sure how long he'll ultimately be at the club, but not at all surprised the deal got done.
