10 man Juventus pouring players forward to grab a goal is, in some form, attacking football. Whether you agree with his subs doesn't make it "Dutch" or whatever. Probably been covered before though.

Not only this, but according to Cronios every transfer during this summer was based around ItalJuve. Somehow we ended up with a fucking Paraguayan.
i was telling them that it was also bologna who was pleased with the draw and decided to give no space away
it is not that we create a thing through the wings (because they only work hard) and that is my point in the whole discussion
why playing a 4-2-4 if all the dangerous coming through the middle and buy 4 wingers in one summer mercato
then we should play 4-3-1-2 then you play everything though the middle. we fielding a 4-2-4 but our wingers haven't been dangerous so far at all.

Not satisfied with this to be honest, because recently, the Bologna teams of the league haven't been scared to attack Juventus knowing the frailty of the club for two years. Especially when Juventus had 10 men. Chievo match with Giandonato's red card, Parma match with Felipe Melo's red card, Cesena match with Motta's red card. All three were bad displays, and the team looked severely handicapped.

I'm fairly sure Conte stuck with a 4-2-3 because it most matched the system, instead of going 4-3-1-1. I didn't see a team creating solely through the middle, just that most attacks were started through Pirlo and were spread. There were a lot of corners and crosses, so Matri was probably a wiser choice than Quag, and physically he's stronger as well (playing with back to goal). I didn't think Giaccherini was defensive in terms of a coach trying to play for the draw, he covered a lot of ground (sort of making up for the 10 man disadvantage) and was an offensive threat. I'm not sure if Elia would have done similar.

You are part of the ItalJuve conspiracy as well, you see.
Maybe we all are. Agnelli has manipulated the fans, but Cronios' mind is strong enough to resist.

Have some patience FFS! Let him work the way he does without demanding he fulfils our petty, selfish desires.

EstiG is not an exception he costs nothing and is only there to play the role of bad guy in Giaccherini's show...
The emigrant thug, who our beloved Italian protagonist has to beat, in order to get the fidanzata d'Italia...

I have tons of patience i only tell what i see :)
and i want to see elia and esti :p
Look, it's not like Conte is gonna read your post and suddenly decide to play Dutch attacking football and make Elia a regular starter. Frankly, any requests or demands like that are pointless, and for someone like me, all this whining is frankly sickening. No matter how much you bitch and whine and complain about it, we have no say in the matter. We do not control the outcome. It's all in Conte's hands and it's gonna be less stressful if you accept that fact.

So please, shut up about Elia and Dutch football! :groan:

Whats wrong with the version of our attacking football?
It is enough to dominate, keep possession, create chances, spectacle and survive in Italy.
What more do you want?

no ofcourse not but why are we even talking then about players.
it is not like conte won't play Marchisio because people here are saying that.

let me think no about your last opinion
i was just giving my opinion which we all do and i make it stronger with the example of dutch football which is unfortunely for you is what conte wants to play
that is why he brought in Elia so you have to deal with in a few months time also

and i won't change my opinions or behaivor because you don't like it

So, you are happy with the style of play of this Juve squad?
Yes i am!
And i believe that it will become even better in the future as we improve our teamwork.
Its much more than i ve excpected. There are a few things that need to be tweaked, but i beleive they are managable.

I m mostly concerned about the compromises we will have to do due to our material and its nationality...

This is not Spain, Barca football cannot be emulated any better in such a defensive minded league and with so many defensive minded Italian players.

So am I. I like the determination of the squad to play a full 90 minutes, to act as if they are down 0-1 instead of being comfortable with the lead. what concerns me though is that this style of play will take a physical toll eventually on the players, and Conte simply has to start integrating Elia, Quag, Estigarribia, and Vidal into the squad sooner rather than later.

For this team to be something special this year, they have to maintain this pace for the next 35 weeks, and if it is the same Starting XI every week, their lungs are going to burst. Pirlo especially needs to be protected.

Yes the fighting spirit we lost since DD days, thats the first time we see smth like that without Neddy on the field.
I was really impressed and i hope that this unlucky draw wont change our positive attitude and self confidence.

I believe that we can afford the psysicality it recquires, because we have many, many squad players and no games in Europe.
Even our dreaded injury issues seem to improve quite a bit and with such a huge squad, we could even take even largest tolls without losing our composure.

My point of criticism for the Ital Juve project affects mostly our strategic course, our long term plans and our competitiveness vs the strongest teams.
Against the lesser teams, this team has what it takes to thrive and reach the top.
There is no real competition for the 4#, we just need to stay focused and take advantage of a slippery road of one of the big 3!

Regardless of the outcome, this team is enjoyable to watch, no more desperate long balls, no more one dimensional attacking plan, based on one winger, we can now keep the ball on our feet and actually have a clue of what to do with her!
Possession foottbal has always been my fav and Conte remembers it and can apply it.

Seriously what more one could expect from a coach coming serie B, he has fulfilled my initial expectations.
I even like his subs most ppl tend to accuse him for.

I hereby declare that i reckon that Conte is a COACH, before the season started, i even doubted if he can be called a bad/inexperienced coach at all.
Even a bad coach is better than a non-coach in my books. And Conte is not a non coach.

Pirlo is essential to our cause, i also underestimated his physical condition and will to fight for our colors.
He was the most pleasant surprise of the season for me!
But he indeed most be protected, we will eventually become dependant on his presence, just like Milan.
And he is not a player that can be replaced...

I'm actually a little surprised. This isn't your typical M.O., Cronios.

Though I gotta say, the Italian nationalism claim -- when we're starting the likes of Vuc, Licht, and Krasic -- are more than just a little bit silly sky-is-falling paranoia.
