i'm convinced when elia finally gets to play, its gonna be a good game cause he has so much to prove

makes sense that he playd considering we are a men down tho.

elia wouldnt have put in that much efford in general teamwork, pressing and tracking back.

if vucinic didnt fucked up on the second yellow(you dont do that when ur booked, especially 500 km away from ur goal), i'm pretty sure that elia would have subbed on

Giacs was alright in the situation. A mini-Dirk Kyuit? which is why Conte put him on. With 10 men and Pirlo, no coach would go with Elia at that point.

Also looks more mobile and quicker than Giovinco, fwiw.

Any dutch coach would had played elia, we were dominating and we needed a bit of extra attacking threat.
It is so Italian like to bring on gia because he can defend I want wingers to go pass their man and be dangerous
That is attacking football, not this what conte shows us

Do you know how hard it is to dominate with 10 men? And Giac wasn't bought on to defend (despite popular opinion). Re-watch the game. He was all over the place creating an option, centrally, and even at times went to the RW because Pepe wasn't doing **** there.

Of course Elia is the better option with 11 men but we needed someone to play 2-3 roles (LW, SS, AM) and Elia wouldn't do that.

There was nothing Italian about 82% possession and leaving constant holes at the back.

Elia will play be sure in that. He wasn't brought in to warm the bench. Have a little faith in our coach Antonio :agree:

your opinion (ofcourse i have faith in Conte but he doesn't play attacking football at all)
I would have bring quag for alex in ht because matri isn't great at being a lonely striker
then at 60 min i would have bring elia on for krasic or pepe.
and then i would have brought on vidal for marchisio
that is dutch attacking football
conte just plays italian football, but because bologna is so weak we were dominating

Over 60% in all three games is not attacking? The Dutch in the World Cup relied on counter attacks and physicality, it was not like they were taking the game to their opponents.

Conte threw the kitchen sink at bologna, for a stretch we looked like man utd in the way we play, after all no point measuring ourselves against dutch football, we're supposed to compare juve to the best, not the rest.

If we didn't played attacking football in last 3 games I don't know what games have you be looking at?

didn't you noted that all three opponents didn't want to have the ball. which mean they fear juve
but the line up's of conte didn't give me any attacking football at all

for the dutch nt on the world cup
how much possession did we had against denmark, Japan and Cameroon?
I looked it up for you also around the 60% and you also don't call it attacking football
so possession says nothing about attacking football
playing the hard working wingers instead of the real wingers is a clear thing which every italian coach does

if conte plays a 4-3-3 with a number 10 in vidal and upcoming backs and real attacking wingers
then i will call it attacking team

B,

Conte has given his reasons for not starting Krasic and Elia.

Krasic started last night. We need balance so early, instead of throwing 15 new faces into the lineup.

Elia or Krasic will start at weekend. I can hardly complain about what I've seen. Results matter not who plays.

I know conte did but i don't agree with him :)
for example conte has to stop say he plays attacking football
and i am almost 100% sure we will never see elia, vidal (as an attacking midfielder) and krasic together from the start through the whole season

Fapping over Elia like he's some sort of Messiah. He has shown nothing to warrant the kind of trust you want Conte to show him. Also, we have no idea what he's capable of in this Juve. Being 10 man down, we needed someone who knew the system not give someone their debut. As mediocre as Gia is, he was the best choice yesterday.

If Vidal plays in this system, he has to play the role that Marchisio plays now. With Pirlo alongside him it'd be disastrous for Vidal to overly press forward.
