Elia: ""We said that we'd talk, if an offer from a European top club like Arsenal or Chelsea comes in, but Juve is on the same level as HSV. Both clubs are building up something new, so a transfer to Juve wouldn´t make any sense."

Happy we dodged this bullet.

There's this interview with Elia from this summer.. at 20:00 he says he would like to play for Arsenal or otherwise Chelsea or an "absolute top club". He didn't mention Juve once though. The court is not far from where I live. :p

some comments should not surprise us, we will hear many more in the coming months, we are in a very weak league and we deserve to be were we are, behind some very mediocre teams.
By now it is clear that we are not moving according to a plan that will rebuild this team into the competitive level, we once had.

You think significant and massive are the same thing?

Your English is better than that.
well sums could be relevant, but 30 mil out of 50, are a significant amount of cash and a massive investment, considering the sum we had available to spend/invest.

For Real M or Man City, not even a 45mil investment on Aquero could be considered massive, if they have 300mil budget and the ability to perform +75mil acquisitions, but for a mid table team, like the new age Juve it would be a transfer of monstrous proportions...

What an idiot for saying that. He really doesn't have a clue. Anyway maybe Vucko will be our LW with Pasquato as reserve a valid theory IMO. Rossi could be the surprise.

"Sorry, Liverpool remains England's top team and Juventus are still the biggest club in Italy. Bigger than AC Milan, Inter and the rest, but Hamburg did not want to let me go."

"Elijah is in Serie A play," says Schouten. "I have the last few days with Juventus Fabio Parataci spoken. If we come together financially, Elia will play in Italy next year."

Where did he say that?
He was quoted in the Hamburger Morgenpost. What he basically said was that he's only interested in a big club like Arsenal or Chelsea. He considers Juve as the biggest club in Italy, but that the level of play is about the same as HSV, so he rather stay there. Also, Juve isn't playing CL or EL.

I don't know or read the Hamburger Morgenpost, but their the second largest newspaper in Hamburg. Other sites took those quotes from them I guess.

If he really did say these things, then he can go suck a dick.

As if any club harboring any ambitions of being competitive would pick up this over-rated cuntbag, dickskin douche to play for them. Perhaps he can go to Arsenal and mow the grass @ The Emirates.
