hamburg´s sporting director made it pretty clear:
there was an official offer from juve and they turned it down.
they don´t want to sell him. there is no need to sell him. he is a very important player.

on the other hand he might just try to get more money but it sounds like a final decission to me. furthermore it´s on their official page and normally you don´t publish articles like this when you´re just waiting for a better offer...

We can. I'm pretty sure we can comfortably buy Vargas+Lugano.

We offered 32m eur for Aguero and at the time we already had Licht while the negotiations for Vidal were ongoing. So Aguero surely didn't exclude Licht and Vidal.
From those 32m eur we offered for Kun, we spent 15m on Vucinic, and it was even claimed that Vucinic doesn't exclude a star player.

So, we do have money for at least buying Vargas. Lugano for free or for 3.5 should not be a problem. But I'm not sure if we'll have money for the icing on the cake, which could be Rossi. We'll have to do some sales and in this front we're not doing too well. In any case, Agnelli clearly said that the major movements in Juve's mercato will happen in August (he said this on July 26th) so lets wait and see.
thats what i'm thinking for a while now

we are looking for good deals for a leftwing in august, and try to sell most of the trash

depending on how much we raise from that, we buy rossi or someone else

I have to say I find it quite worrying how much hate Elia receives, when you look at other players we're being linked with. I wonder how many have based this opinion simply on him being benched at HSV last year.

The best are those who prefer Pasquato, because he scored in a friendly, but was really unimpressive the rest of the time.

The initial estimations spoke about 50mil available for transfers and about 25mil for salaries.
After Pirlo, Pazienza, Ziegler, Lict, Vidal and Vucinic we are left with aprox 15mil at best.
If we opt for the 3.5 mil Lugano, we wont have the necessary 15mil to sign Vargas with cash and may have a salary issue, if we keep, Amauri and Toni and Iaq and Quaq.
The Amauri+10mil for Vargas will be decisive and might turn tables to a disastrous mercato.
We should rather secure Vargas first and try an Amauri+10mil for Vucinic, now we risk having to start the season with Martinez as our only LM...

We dont have money for Rossi anymore, not after buying Vucinic and miserably failing to make any income for the 25mil Melo...
our 15mil plus 15mil from Melo and amauri could land us a rossi proportions transfer.
But we have failed too hard to make a profit and we are having problems to finalize even 15mil deals like Vargas.

Thats a typical situation, thats keep happening since serie B, we dont respect our priorities, buy and overpay for random players and then fail to make up for our mistakes until the end of the transfer window, or at least learn smth from those mistakes and try to avoid them next season...

Melo is of the wage bill, all players we got are great upgrades, and we are now focussing on clearing out the trash wich is hard

i agree secco fucked us up pretty hard, and now marotta has a hard time fixing things
but save your critics till this mercato is over

oh, and elia not comming :tuttosport:

Why should he? Time isn't going to reverse the mistakes that Marotta has already made. We wouldn't be risking not having a LW at all next season if Marotta knew how to sell players. He got virtually nothing from Giovinco and nothing from Melo (two very easy players to sell at a price around or over 10M). Marotta can't sell players for shit and its going to cost us.

Elia: ""We said that we'd talk, if an offer from a European top club like Arsenal or Chelsea comes in, but Juve is on the same level as HSV. Both clubs are building up something new, so a transfer to Juve wouldn´t make any sense."

ROFL. Close this dickheads thread.

Happy we dodged this bullet.
