Guys, if we are going after Elia, Bale should be considered an interplanetary champion by our standards. Elia is no better dribbler, lets make that clear. Obviously you cannot compare Bale with players like Ronaldo or Messi, because their technique is on a different level, but he is fast and he CAN defend. Bale is probably the best we can hope for and could give this team another dimension, much more so than any other LW we have been connected with for the last summer.
There are only 2 valid points that could deter his arrival:
1. How much does he costs? What salaries will he require?
2. Can we trust the combination of his health and our doctors? Would he be able to get at least half a season?
If we can get him for 25 mils and under 3.5 mils salary ... Well its a no-brainer. GET HIM ASAP. Forget all about the 'overrated' bullshit that the chorus here is singing. The same chorus that is fapping after Vucinic "can't score on an empty goal" can not be trusted. Krasic isn't a dribbler as well, but the pure speed is burning the LB he is playing against. If we have Krasic and Bale on the wings I am betting my ass they will be faster on the counter than our forward line, which is not exactly what Conte wants, but every great coach adapts and we already have one of the players here. And Bale has some years ahead of him to develop so its not like he is the finished product. With two very fast wingers the FB of our adversaries will simply erase the word 'attack' out of their dictionaries.
