I don't really rate Elia; he is too raw for my liking. Mind you, I am not hailing Krasic as a saviour either, but he does have slightly more experience, is a bit more consistent, and has had more exposure when it comes to major competitions. In any case, Krasic is a RW and Elia plays on the left, so I don't really think there is a point in comparing them.
They're both wingers though, one does his job on the left, the other on the right, but it's still the same job. They are somewhat comparable I'd say.
Since you find Elia very raw and inconsistent, I was just wondering what you thought of Krasic, as I've seen him disappear in a few games. I have to admit I've seen a lot more of Elia than of Krasic, but I'm guessing it's the other way around with you, as we've been linked with Krasic for a longer time, which might've sparked your interest in watching the player.
You have to keep in mind Elia is two years younger than Krasic, plays in the Bundesliga and is basically a sub in our national team only because of Arjen Robben, which is not really anything to be ashamed of. Krasic 'only' plays in the Russian league, so the only advantage he'd have is the experience of a few CL games.
Like I said, I can't say I've seen all that much of Krasic, but I don't think his experience would really go a long way when deciding between, or comparing the two. Based on what I've seen he's not any more of a consistent threat than Elia.
Ah well, both made our points, each to his own, and I admit I might be a tad biased here.
