To clarify my position here, Elia may become a great winger. But, till now he’s just a player who is similar to Quaresma. Tricks and speed with no end product.

Unlike Giovinco, his assists are impressive for the little amount of time given.

So for now, Giovinco is a better option indeed. A season without a Champions League would be ideal for him to gain confidence and see whether he has potential or another overrated Italian talent.

EDIT: Also, some people were lamenting Bundesliga defenders, which Elia plays in and Seba is playing in the hardest league, in terms of finding space to demonstrate his style of play.

I would prefer Vargas as our LM for sure if we still looking for natural left footed winger.. Vargas has better end product although he is not skillfull and tricky winger
