I totally see where you're coming from, but everyone has a opinion. I get funny buying a young player like Elia and having to see whether he can adapt to life in serie A. Hence....i used kapo as a example. He doesnt do enough for me technically and we know the Italian game is one of the most technical leagues in the world. So you need that balance and i just dont see it much in Elia. But thats just my opinion.
I see that you doubt Elia, yes,I probably feel the same, but so was I when Juve were getting Krasic, and look how he turned out..and again with the Kapo comparisons,Kapo never played in the World Cup,and in France NT he had only 9 caps and Capello at that time did not like to use young players, and he had a perfect team,so he did not need to change anyone and giving youth a chance, this time is different,we could use a change and is in need of another player to help Juve attack..Look at the players we are linked with,Balasz,Schelotto..and certainly for me i would choose Elia to fill that wing for a relatively cheap price

Given that Juve have Pepe and Marchisio to use as hardworking, inward-looking left mids, it would seem logical to get a left-footed player who looks to stay wide to provide to variety.

Elia is a decent player, though.

This is the way i see it, we all know how aquilani is with fitness, so if we have someone like elia then the midfield should be like this elia-marchisio-melo-krasic
and when we want to use aquaman, we go back to using marchisio/pepe on the left, because i would think with elia and krasic,we need 2 central midfielders who are better in defending, and thats why marchi should play instead of aqua

It'll be interesting to see how the Marchisio and Aquilani partnership plays out on Sunday, I think with the defensive work Marchisio does we should see Aquilani further up field.

what makes you think that,Melo does as much defensive work as Marchisio does or probably more, and Aqua still doesn't move further up then?

Marchisio is alot more disiplined in his defensive duties, he works harder than Melo to win the ball back.
he may work harder but he usually wins less than melo though, marchisio is more disciplined yes, gives less fouls and closes down faster, but i think melo wins more tackles and balls when compared to marchi
