It was kinda disheartening to see him standing with his daughter on the pitch with a sad look on his face. He deserves better. Hope he gets proper playing time in the future.
Deserves better? Yeah, he really got it bad.

He should pick himself up a bit and show some brains on the pitch first in order to get play.

So first you preach against how Ale fanboys are reacting to his departure, and then you say that to this nobody.

He's not a nobody. He's a Juventus player. And any player deserves to have proper playing time on the pitch rather than wasting it on the bench. Be it Elia, Krasic or Del Piero.

Not true at all, they have to show that they deserve to play. And from time he played, he is far from a player who deserves to play.

Really?

I felt sad for Quagliarella when he got that injury last season.
I was talking in Elia's context but yes, on a sporting level. I won't say I am totally indifferent, there is natural disappointment. For Quag's injury I was more annoyed for the team. That's part of football. I've got to worry about work and paying bills.

Besides, most players approach such things with a good attitude, as Quag did. They don't want people to mope. If they want to feel sorry for themselves, then that is enough people doing it. In terms of Elia, he tries harder or finds somewhere else to play.

:sergio: He's a footballer, and he needs to play football. Footballers need to play because that is their profession. It's useless if they end up in a situation where they cannot play. Get it?
There are zilion players and only 22 or 25 in the Juve squad while only 11 best can play at the time.

When he was given chance to play he was absolutely lost in the field, didn't know where and when to run, no tactical awareness at all. If in training it's similar I'm not surprised he didn't play a lot.

And the coach decides who deserves to play who doesn't. And he didn't, get it?

It's not about deserving to play or not. It's not like the club treated him harshly. It's about basic human feeling, it's ok to feel sad about someone who looks sad, it's called compassion, and that's it.

Watching Krasic taking his medal and knowing he won't play for us, I'm sure many wished that he will stay and become again important player for us. Especially looking at his previous season with us, and some good memories he brought us.

However watching Alex saluting our fans at our stadium for the last time is something totally different and can't be described with words.

If someone feel the same about Elia and Del Piero than that's the different case.

Sorry Sheik I agree with Raz and Klin here. Elia didnt workout and couldnt get conte to trust in his skill/mentality enough to warrant playing time so therefore he doesnt deserve playing time and possibly somewhere else he will find that

Ffs I'm not taking in Juve's context. I'm talking as a footballer in general! No matter which club he's in, a footballers primary desire is to play football.

If he's good enough yes. If he's not he should go to a lower level where he can get playing time.

Everything has it's place, and Juve isn't Elia's place.
