I read he came to training late one day then just starting fooling around, that probably didn't win him many fans.
If that's the case.. How stupid can one be?! Surely he knows the kind of man Conte is, what kind of club he signed for. If he's screwing up his chances there is no need for him. It's a shame really, because ability-wise he's the best winger we have, but without hard work that's, unfortunately for us, useless.

I'm honestly surprised this thing with Elia has actually not hit the medias attention. He's not media magnet like the messis or cr9's of the world but the fact skill wise he is our best player and the fact we bought him to solve our left wing problem and he's only played 45 official minutes for us in 9 games is crazy. Probably because to be honest we haven't needed him. I'm glad it hasn't but just surprising. It's like the media don't want to mess with conte.

No quotes but apparently Elia's agent met with the management, he was assured that the societa view Elia as an important player and that he will play and have his oppurtunities soon. Elia is working hard to start playing.

I really respect Conte for not playing him until he's ready to put in the effort and show the right attitude, and I'm confident that we'll get much better results from Elia because of Conte's approach.

Let's hope so. Not ( just :p ) because he's Dutch, but because we could use a skillful and fast winger. ( Take Pepe's place for example.. )

He is nowhere near good enough for his shit attitude and lack of defense. Ship him out as soon as possible.

We need Ramirez or better type players not an Elia.

 Seriously, how the hell did you come to the conclusion that he has a shitty attitude? He's barely played and he hasn't complained about it. So unless you're on the sidelines watching the training sessions, you don't know shit.

There was something mentioned that he came late to training one day an then goofed off. Also on twitter he is more interested in fashion, playstation and rap music than football.

Credible source you got there.

Oh and yes, damn you Eljero for having a life outside of football! Like who the hell seriously likes to wear nice clothes, play games and listen to music?

It's his official twitter for fans. Why does he think people are looking at his twitter, to see something about clothes or something about football. And he doesn't talk about football at all, very wierd. Would not mind if he talked about other things, but he is got a very boring twitter account about clothes. I unfollowed him.

And even if he has the right attitude, what does this mean? It means Conte doesn't rate him, maybe an even worse option for Elia.

First of all, it's HIS Twitter account, he can tweet about whatever the fuck he wants. And regarding him not playing, Conte just explained that yesterday.

But seriously. Any good winger wouldn't need months to get used to Serie A. It really isn't THAT complicated to play in and players from different leagues come to Italy and fit in fairly quickly. I watch Bundesliga pretty regularly and even though there are a few small differences in terms of pace, physicality etc. it is still at the end of the day just football.
